Question 1. Who are you and what is the name of your company.
My name is Kelly Erhayel with Beverages Unlimited LLC.
Question 2. How many people work for your company?
We have about 20 people internally and several new distributors in other key states that really show promise.
Question 3. How did you come up with the idea for CrazyHorse energy drink? What is the story behind the drink and the name?
This was not our first experience with energy drinks. The adrenaline that comes with the thrill of the chase in general tends to be a wild ride, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Crazy Horse from a marketing aspect has the ability to adapt to nearly any demographic, which was a very important factor in the decision to agree on a name. Our original design had a horse being ridden ... my husband was key in our final rendition...we pulled the rider off hence creating Crazy Horse Energy Drink where "YOU" Ride the Energy and we want EVERYONE to Enjoy Their Ride!!
Question 4. How did you decide which ingredients to put in Crazyhorse?
I am very much a natural person who puts a lot of stock in "Mother Earth," I wanted to utilize the same ingredients that make "us" a healthier person in general. Very few people realize how ineffective vitamins are if you break up a "family" ..... That is our key.
Question 5. Do you plan on releasing other flavors? Maybe a Crazyhorse shot? We are currently working on a sugar-free version of Crazy Horse Energy Drink for those who might be watching their figure...and are also working on a more "fruity" version to appeal to those who don't like energy drinks as a rule. As for the "shot" I am not a big fan of those myself.
Question 6. Some companies target extreme athletes, Students, Party crowd, etc... Who is your target market?
Our target market is the typical energy drink demographic .....16 - 35 years old. However, on a more personal note I want to attract ANYONE who would like to drink, try or thinks they would like to try an energy drink..... one that actually tastes Great.
Question 7. Who is your products main competition? Energy drinks, Energy shots, energy pills. The big boys like RB or Monster?
I have spent most of my adult life pulling for the underdog....anti-big brother....I feel like our competition is not the conglomerates responsible for being the category staple...but producing an energy drink that tastes GREAT (with no aftertaste) and can be offered at such an aggressive price the Consumer can be passed on the savings too......A better tasting product that costs less.....
Question 8. Obviously you are not scared to mention energy drinks and alcohol in the same sentence (unlike some ed companies) since you have some drink recipes on your site. What is your stance on the current controversy concerning mixing energy drinks and alcohol.
I guess I hold a white heart ... I refuse to act like people won't mix our drink with alcohol (the ostrich syndrome responsible for allowing one to put their head in the sand)... I think it’s important for all of us to be responsible for ourselves and know when to say when.....I personally don't feel one shooter bomb will give you a heart attack... it really boils down to moderation and realizing if you have a heart condition maybe my product is not the right beverage for you. If you were a diabetic and you eat a 1lb solid Hershey kiss you wouldn't get mad at Hershey because you were sick.....
Question 9. Who designed your can?
My Husband and I did ... we wanted something different than everyone.....something you remembered because it was unique.
Question 10. Why the small caffeine content?
Being concerned with the "health" factor in general ... our product has less caffeine than an average cup of coffee.
Question 11. Tell all Energy junkies out there why they should use and support Crazyhorse. Give us your best sales pitch.
Crazy Horse tastes great and has no lingering aftertaste. It provides that"extra edge" you might need for any activity you enjoy and a price that invites you to Enjoy The Ride!
