Ok so got these the other day and I am so happy. These are just rolling out in a lot of states like CA, AZ, TX. Soon they will be in a lot of other states so keep an eye out. I am happy to be one of the first to review them. There are 3 flavors and I tried them all. First off let me tell you these are made by 7th Street Brewing in Wisconsin. Let’s see how they do with their version of the caffeinated malt beverage.
Packaging: Ok since they are new they seemed to have avoided a lot of the pit falls of earlier drinks of this type. This drink is in a 24 oz can that looks adult and hard. These look nothing like an energy drink. I love the aggressive look of these. The bih CJ logo really work well. Then to top it off they clearly label the fact these contain alcohol and include a little “We Id” graphic. No one is going to mistake this for a kids drink. Anyway this can is top notch. Grade A
Slogan: Nothing on the can and their website is not all the way up yet. They do have “Oh so nice on ice” on their Facebook page but I don’t think that it is. I’ll give them an NA for now because surely they will have a cool slogan later.
Taste:
Kick/ingredients. You know it’s kind of hard to really judge the kick in these kinds of drinks. Each time I drank a can of Crunk Juce I really got pretty wasted. Seriously I am no light weight but 1 can of this stuff drank in an hour will have you slurring your words a bit. Then at the same time you will still be ready to party and have a bunch of energy. I found these were excellent on Sunday for football watching. One can really got me going good for the long day of yelling at the TV, high fiving, fist bumping, and really all the stuff that makes watching football an action activity. Getting ready for a night out? Pre drink one of these and your off to a serious start. I don’t suggest drinking more than one or 2 of these in a night. These are strong at 12% alcohol and its 24 oz. Along with the 12% alcohol you get caffeine, Ginseng, and Guarana. Amounts are not listed which is typical with every energy malt beverage. Overall I give this a grade of C+ for kick/ingredients. With these kind of drinks I really don’t see any of them scoring higher as far as kick goes.
Web presence: The site at crunkjuce.com is just getting started so I’ll give it a grade of NA until they get it going. I have high hopes for the future

Ok so as far as energy malt beverages these have to be some of my favorites. These really did well as far as taste goes and I like the lower level of sweetness. The will get you buzzed in more ways than one and are a bargain as far as what you get for your money. If you are someone of age who enjoys energy malt beverages than I suggest you drop your usual brand and look these up. Actually if you enjoy inexpensive wine you might want to give these a try also. They taste much less malty than your average malt beverage and more like a flavored wine. My only disclaimer is don’t be a dumb ass and try and drink 4 of these in a row are something stupid like that. People are ruining it for others by not being responsible.
