E6 6 hour energy shots

Man it seems there is a never ending list of energy products to try. Each one trying to find its niche. Many take on the leaders and try to one up them. E6 is one of those. The list 6 hours of energy on their shots. Will they deliver more or longer lasting energy? They offer 4 flavors and I will be reviewing all of them here.

Packaging: Ok so it is the typical 2 oz shot bottle. I like the fact that the flavor is listed on the lid portion along with an image corresponding to the flavor. I also like the whole e to the power of 6 idea. Overall nothing ground breaking or special but well executed and professional looking. Should appeal to the typical more mature energy shot consumer. Grade C+

Slogan: “E6 is for Energy” is right on the label and while nothing outstanding it is a nice product specific slogan. Grade B

Taste: So there are 4 flavors. That is good. You can pick the one you like best.

So I like the fact that these do not taste medicinal or bitter. I also like the watery lightly sweetness. It’s kind of like flavored water and does not leave you thirsty.

Kick/Ingredients: After trying these shots 4 times I have to say this is where they excel. Each time I tried on I got a big burst of somewhat jittery energy in about 10 or less minutes. If you’re used to 5 hour shots then imagine drinking 2 at once. I was zooming along at a super fast pace and really tore through some work and still had time to be sociable and visit around a bit. This my friend is a top shelf buzz that will really have you getting stuff done. I was easily wired up for a solid 5+ hours with no crash. These shots are powered by 150 mg Caffeine, Taurine, Inositol, Glucuronolactone, Tyrosine  L- Phenylalanine, malic acid, and large doses of b vitamins. It comes with 0 calories, carbs, or sugar. It is sweetened with sucralose. Grade B+ for kick/ingredients

Web Presence: The site at e6energy.com is simple and yet very good. It provides a good amount of product info in the faq and comparison sections. I really like how they designed the site and although there is not a lot to do there it is still kind of fun. Grade C+

Recap:

Ok so I think these guys can give 5 hours a run for their money. Theirs is a stronger shot and yet it still has the packaging and feel that should appeal to a wide range of consumers. The kick is really top shelf and the tastes are pretty good to boot. If you see some of these I highly suggest you give them a try. You will be happy you did.
