Interview with Euphoric

Euphoric Banana/Strawberry

Ok so a long time ago I reviewed some drinks from Euphoric and also did an interview. Recently the requested another interview since there has been a changing of the guard at Euphoric. I agreed and they also sent me some of their other flavors to review. I am glad they did because they really pull out all the stops on unique flavors. If memory serves me right they do a great job also. Let’s check out one of the new flavors.

Packaging: In my earlier review I had only sample cans so I did not grade the package. Now I have the final package and it is pretty nice. I like the cool little double e 3d type logo. The gold fade to black background along with the logo really gets it done with the whole futuristic look. The rear label clearly list ingredients and their amounts which is a big plus. No mysterious “cup of coffee” crap.  Nice can. Grade B

Slogan: “The Future of Energy” is on the can but I prefer the one on their Facebook which reads “Prepare for a Taste Revolution”. Really the 2 combined cover all the bases well. Grade B

Taste:  Ok so I pop the top and I get a nice real strawberry scent upfront with a hint of banana lurking in the background. I pour some in a cup and it comes out a translucent bold yellow color with a medium carbonation that looks very refreshing.  I take a sip and I get some really nice strawberry flavor up front then it quickly fades into a really nice blended strawberry banana. At the finish I get more banana but the taste lingers pleasantly and seem to alternate between the two flavors. The level of sweetness is spot on making it refreshing with no gumminess or energy ingredient aftertaste. Awesome stuff. Grade A+

Kick/Ingredients: So I had a boring meeting to attend before my 12 hour night shift started. I drank this can at the start of the meeting. It really got me through the meeting with out getting tired. I got a nice mid level boost of energy. Then there is the fact that my mood really seemed to improve. I eagerly participated in the meeting and was quite the cut up as well. After the meeting my energy and my mood were great for a good 4 to 5  hours with no crash. The energy itself was a relaxed alertness that allowed good focus as well. Each can is powered by 140mg of caffeine, 1200mg of Taurine, 50mg ginseng,160 mg of inositol, 80 mg Damiana leaf extract, 60 mg Maca root extract, and 100 mg of Suma root extract. The adaptogens in this mix are pretty nice and provide a different experience than most energy drinks. You get all this with 220 calories, 54 grams of carb, and 52 grams of sugars. It is sweetened with sugar. To top it off there is some sodium and potassium for hydration as well. Grade B for kick/ingredients. For pure kick it would be a C+ but the extra ingredients bump it up overall.

Web Presence: The site at euphoricenergy.com is pretty much the same as it was way back when. It needs a revamping I think as it feels kind of dated. There is contact info, and about us section, a product gallery, and a store locator.  Please lose the music that starts each page guys. They also have a Facebook.  Grade C+ for web presence

Recap:

Ok so now I remember why I like this stuff so much. It tastes awesome. It does not stop there though. It will give you some good energy and also deliver a great mood enhancement. I think you really need to check this one out if you get a chance. I can’t wait to try the other flavors and use this stuff as a mixer. I think this is a great drink for work or play. Get your hands on some and let me know what you think.
