Mas Mana
Health Energy potion

Back when the original Mana energy potion was released it was all over the news and web. It came in a cool glass bottle, it had a gamers theme to it, it had a nice line up of ingredients, and it was green. Some of these things have changed over time. The glass was problematic so they switched to plastic. The color of green was not the right color for the Mana potion in world of warcraft. They switched to color to blue. Now the same people are back with Health Energy Potion. Having learned from the original this one comes in a cool plastic potion bottle and is red. Health potion is supposed to be red. Needless to say I was excited to try it. Let’s see if we like it as much as the original
Packaging: Sticking with the WOW design theme health energy potion comes in a 50ml clear plastic potion bottle. The bottle is pretty stout and clear and looks very glass like. The bottle has a shrink wrap label on it that is mostly clear. The name “Health energy potion” is printed on the front and it has a gold sword behind it. On the back you have ingredients and supplement facts. You don’t have a lot on this label but I think they are letting the design of the bottle and the liquid stand out on its own. I like this package a lot and it makes it stand out big time among other shots. The switch to plastic did not diminish its appeal. The label is still a little hard to read but otherwise a great job. Grade A for packaging.
Slogans: “Replenish or Perish” is on the site and it is a cool slogan. This slogan ties into the whole gamer potion aspect of the shot as well as makes a good energy shot slogan. Grade B for slogan
Taste: The original was a super sour tart flavor that I really liked. I twist off the cap and take a whiff. The scent is not really apple or cinnamon like I expected but more berry organic. Next I slam it like I was down to my last HP and one step away from visiting a spirit healer. It goes down smooth and has a slight apple flavor and some berry mixed in. It has kind of an earthy taste as well but there is no bitterness or sourness. It taste ok but I did not really taste any cinnamon and the thick consistency is a little strange. Overall though it was pretty enjoyable and well above your average shot. I think I like the original Mana better but this is still a grade of B for taste.
Kick/Ingredients. I tried it a couple of times and both times it was huge. I got a massive boost of energy that easily allowed me to slay hoards of enemies and still have enough hit points left to lay waste to a project that was due at my job. Seriously though this stuff gives a worth boost that will last you a good 4 hours. I think the energy does not last quite as long as the original Mana energy potion though because it does not have the enzyme blend. It does have 160mg of caffeine, Taurine, Glucuronolactone, N-Acetyl Tyrosine, DL-Phenylalanine, ginseng, elderberry juice concentrate, 100% dv of vitamin C, and a bunch of B vitamins. There is no sugar, 25 calories and 4 grams of carbs. I give them a grade of B for kick/ingredients. This is not as potent as Mana but it is still very strong
Web presence: manapotions.com Is still a very nice game themed website. It is kept up to date. It has an about section, faq, locate, store (using PayPal), and a fun section. There is also current news. No it is not super flashy but it is a fun and they have a great sense of humor. I will give them a grade of B
Recap:
To sum it all up Health energy potion is a great follow up to Mana. It is healthier but for that it sacrifices some of the kick. Still it is very strong when compared to your average energy shot though so it comes highly recommended. There is no Niacin in this shot so if you can’t handle Niacin now you to can experience the fine power that Harcos shots have to offer. I like the fact they are offering up a different product and not just a new flavor. I can’t wait to see what the future brings from this company.
