Mana Energy potion

Well if you’re an energy drink junkie or a gamer you probably heard about this energy shot. It was all over the news everywhere and I’m sure that everyone wants to know what it is all about. That is where I come in. I am sure there will be others but here is a first look at Mana energy potion.

Packaging: Well we have probably one of the most unique containers I have seen for an energy product. It is a 1.35 oz glass potion bottle that you have probably seen if you have played any video games. It is a thick Glass bottle with a black plastic screw on cap. The bottle has a shrink wrap label on it that is mostly clear so you can see the green liquid inside.  The name “Mana energy potion” is printed on the front and it has a silver sword behind it.  On the back you have ingredients and supplement facts.  Not a real busy label but I think the point is to see the liquid inside without much distraction. I’m going to Give them a grade of A for packaging. I love the bottle. They could have been cheap and went with a plastic potion bottle or even a thinner glass one. They stuck to a more authentic looking bottle though and a much sturdier one. I like the screw on lid so you can save some for later if you can’t handle the whole bottle. I think if they tweaked the logo on the front so you could see it a little better then it would be an A+

Slogans:  Nothing on the bottle itself but on their site we have “Energy for gamers” This gets the message across well but I think this product screams out for an even cooler slogan. There seems to me to be great potential for a cool slogan with the gaming/magic/battle themes. Maybe they should have a slogan contest? I will give them a grade of B for slogan.

Taste: Ok on to the real important stuff. We all know that taste is not the top thing we expect in an energy shot. I open the bottle and I’m greeted with a viscous dark green liquid unlike and energy shot I have seen before. It has a sweet tart smell with a tiny bit of vitamin/energy smell. Pretty pleasant really and way better than most shots. I take a swig of this magical potion and it has a very thick mouth feel. It taste super limey and citrusy with a potent sour bite. I mean it is real sour. The sour really does not pinch at my jaws like sour usually does though. I can taste zero energy flavors and no bitterness at all. Hands down this is one of the best energy shots I have tasted. Good thing since the taste linger for quite a while. It is a very bold flavor. I give them a grade of A for taste. As far as energy shots goes this one is pretty damn good. I think it would also mix well with a sprite or even some club soda and plan on trying that next time.

Kick/Ingredients Here is where I expect the most from an energy shot. It really is mostly about the power with shots. I want quick long lasting energy without having to drink a lot of liquid.  Well I’d say about 10 minutes after downing the whole bottle I was feeling the magic flow through my veins. 20 minutes into it I felt ready to kick some ass and wished I had a mace handy or even a battle axe. Woe be to those who cross my path as they could be torn asunder! Seriously this stuff will rock your world. If Mana was a skanky hot chic she would totally win Bret Michaels heart on Rock Of Love. I got hours of energy from this one little shot. 160mg of caffeine, Taurine, Glucuronolactone, N-Acetyl Tyrosine , no sugar, 20 calories and a unique enzyme blend power the magic. I give them a grade of A for kick. It was not totally jitter free but I did not have a crash.

Web presence Mana has a website at manapotions.com The theme is in line with the bottle. Magic and gaming are the central theme and the graphics are great. The layout is nice with an about section, faq, locate, store (using PayPal), and a fun section. The site is new and still needs some content. I’d like to see more information on the ingredients. I will give them a grade of B for web presence. The site is visually appealing. You will find a ton of hits in Google for Mana energy potion.

Recap:

Wow this Mana is some good stuff and I suggest if you get a chance you pick some up and try it. Even if you’re not a gamer or someone with a proclivity for medieval weaponry you will still find that this is one shot that can get you through whatever activity you are doing with plenty of energy to spare. They could have just depended on the bottle to sell the shot but they did not and brought out a shot that pwned most energy shots out there.
