I was Green before Green was a thing

Monster Rehab Green Tea

Ok so on to the 2nd new Monster Rehab. This time it is Green Tea and I have no idea what to expect. Of course I expect similar ingredients to the other Rehabs but aside from Green Tea what will the flavor be? Lets check it out.

Packaging: The tough thing about reviewing all 3 of the new Rehabs is that really the only difference there is going to be is coloring. Just like the other cans this one has the same basic design. I do like the various fonts which add some aggressiveness. The light blue green coloring is really different for a Monster can and makes it less aggressive. So I’ll give it the same grade A-

Slogans:  I found 2 slogans. “Rehab the Beast!” and also “Re-Fresh, Re-Hydrate, Re-Store” I like both but the second one is better overall. I appreciate the effort they put into slogans and make them drink specific. Grade.  A-

Taste ect:  So I tried this drink twice because the first time I threw away the can before I took a photo. Glad I did the first time I did not enjoy it much. The second time however I found it to be very tasty. You start with a light brown non carbonated liquid that has a tea and fruit scent. Taking a sip I get it right away. Pineapple! Yes it starts with a nice real pineapple juice flavor followed by some light tea and apple flavor then it finishes with that signature pineapple juice zing. You know that taste right? It is unique to pineapple. There is no bitterness and the drink taste very natural. I’ve had several pineapple flavored juice but this on uses real juice so it taste totally different. Grade A for taste!

Kick/Ingredients:  So I drank this down quickly and it hit me hard in fast in the usual 15 minutes. I was really going strong and had a ton of useful energy. There were no jitters and I was in the best mood of the day. I got a solid 4 hours of big energy with no crash.  It is powered by 170 mg caffeine, glucose, black tea extract, Green tea extract, concentrated coconut water, Quercetin, Guarana, Inositol, GlucuronolactoneL-Carnitine, Acai extract, Goji Berry extract, and Prickly Pear extract. Then besides the blend you have Taurine, Ginseng, some B vitamins, and Vitamin C. This flavor has Pineapple juice and apple juice for a total of 4% juice. You get all that with 20 calories and 8 grams of carbs and  4 grams of sugars. It is sweetened with sucralose and Ace K. I give it a solid B+ for kick/ingredients.

Web presence:  monsterenergy.com is one of the top 3 energy drink sites out there. Tons to do so if you have not you should check it out. A-

Recap:

Ok so not sure why I did not enjoy this flavor the first time but I am so glad I tried it again. It taste great and natural and goes down so smooth in the morning especially. It delivers a really nice blast of fun and useful energy that last a good bit. If you like pineapple you have to give this drink a try. Monster just keeps bringing it. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
