Realife plus energy
Well here is one of the latest of my favorite energy drink spinoffs. The additive. Really these are some of the best products around. I have had several in the past and just love the idea. Why not turn your favorite drink into an energy drink? I mean we all have our favorite drinks right. Ones we have had a lifelong relationship with. You can search for an energy drink to replace it with but you are probably going to come up short in the taste department. Here we have Realife with their version. It is one of the simplest and purest around. How will it perform? Let’s check it out.
Packaging: So I am pretty impressed. This is the most professional looking of these types of products I have seen. Mine came in a nice stylish yellow and black box. Of course I love this color combo as you might figure. The box is sleek and professional looking and should appeal to a more mature buyer. Inside the box are 25 little clear plastic tubes. The tubes have twist of lids. As far as delivery goes these open easy and work great. I was able to get every drop out and into my drink neatly and with no fuss. Grade A
Slogan: I found this on the back of the box “Adding life to liquid” and it works pretty well I think. It is well thought out and just fits great with this product. Grade B
Taste: Of course this is not meant to drink alone so it won’t taste good that way. It will taste like caffeine. It is meant to be mixed and it works great there. I tried it in Coke zero and could not tell the difference much at all. In a full 16 oz bottle of water it is barely noticeable. In the spirit of the holidays I even mixed it in some eggnog where you could not taste it at all. In short Realife does what it is supposed to. Adds kick to whatever you drink. Grade B
Kick/Ingredients: So how well this kick depends on what you mix it in and how much. Use 1 for an average boost and 2 if you really need to get going. Here is what I did. I had 1 in a Diet Dew and that really had me going good. I had 2 mixed in a Coke Zero and it really jacked me up good and had me slightly jittery. So as you can see it is as strong as you like really. The buzz itself last a good 3 hours and there is no crash to speak of. The ingredients themselves are pure simplicity. 80 mg Natural Caffeine and purified water is all there is in each tube. I’ll give this a solid C+ for kick/ingredients. Not super strong unless you want it to be.

Ok so I really enjoyed this product. You will love getting your own box and opening it up to see those 25 little tubes inside. The packaging is awesome. The kick is good and it is also pure in natural. The mixing possibilities are endless. Put some in your ice tea, sport drink, Hot Wassail, Appletini, Malt beverage, Chocolate shake, Kumis, water, ect. Really you name it. If you have something you want caffeine in this is the way to go. Hell if you are desperate shoot it down straight with a chaser. Why not give it a try and let me know what you think.
