I'll feel you burn
Relentless Fire

Here we have the second flavor of Relentless that is being released in the USA. This one is called “Fire” and I believe it is the USA version of the UK “Inferno” flavor. This is supposed to be an orange flavored drink. Not sure why the name change though. Let’s see what we have been missing here in the USA.
Packaging: Typical 16 oz can. This can is a mixed brown with orange fade color with white gothic lettering. In the background is an image of a human form that shows the muscle fibers like in that Bodies show. The background image on this can stands out better than on the original and looks a lot sharper. This is just a better and sharper can than the original flavor and has a more aggressive feel. The orange fade work nice. Grade B
Slogan: Same slogan as the original “No Half Measures” is on the can and I like it. It is unique and I think it really works well for an energy drink especially this one. Grade B+
Taste: So I pop the top and get an interesting orange and citrus scent. Pouring some in a cup it comes out a really bright orange color with a medium carbonation. I take a sip and it is very interesting. At first it is very very tart and citrusy and then you get some mildly sweet orange soda flavor that is followed but a very real orange finish. The finish really surprised me. I could really taste the orange juice concentrate listed in the ingredients. There was no bitterness or bad after taste. I think I like the original flavor better but this one is not bad especially if you like orange drinks. Grade C+
Kick/Ingredients: So I was having one of those days. Feeling under the weather, running on 4 hours of sleep, and working a 12 hr shift. I drank this can down around noon before lunch. It only took 15 minutes and then I was feeling much more alert. My eyelids were no longer drooping and I was actually talking to people and being very energetic( I had been keeping to myself before this). I had a nice good buzz going and really got through some of my work and had more free time visit folks. I’d say this is a notch above typical energy from a 16 oz can. Got about 4 hours with only a slight crash. Relentless Fire is powered by(per can) 197 mg caffeine, 1888 mg Taurine, Guarana, Inositol, Yerba Mate , and a fair dose of B vitamins. It comes in at 220 calories, and 52 grams of carbs and sugar. It is sweetened with sugar. The caffeine is from green coffee beans and it also has orange juice concentrate listed close to the top of the ingredients list. I’ll give it a grade of B-
Web Presence: The site for the USA version is at drinkrelentless.com. It’s not a bad site but is still kind of new. You will find some product info, videos, gallery, events, and more. They also have a Twitter and a Facebook. I can see this site getting better as this drink is rolled out here. Grade C+
Recap:
So this was a very interesting drink. Take the original Relentless and then ad some orange juice concentrate. That is pretty much it. Might be a good option for the mornings and it would probably make a great mixer (screwdriver) as well if you are of age. This can on this one is very nice and it provides a nice full sugar buzz. Keep an eye out and give it a try. You know what else I just saw that the bar code on the can has a bridge and a clock tower integrated into it. Wow that is weird.
