She dropped me the bomb
Rip It F bomb

Ok so on to another bargain energy drink. This however is from a well respected energy drink company. Rip it has been providing a great variety of different flavored energy drinks for quite a while and they make some good ones. Let’s see how the F Bomb holds up.
Packaging: Ok so it is your typical 16 oz can. It has 99 cents printed around the top which might not make it look cool but definitely alerts you to it being a bargain. The rest of the can looks ok and it list caffeine content clearly on the back label. I love the F bomb name as well. For a bargain drink the label is pretty well done. Grade C+
Slogan: On their site I found this “Real Energy for real people at a real value” Kinda wordy but it shows some effort and works with the whole value thing. Grade B
Taste: Ok so F bomb stands for fruit bomb. I pop the top and a nice fruit punch smell. I pour some in a glass and it comes out a nice red color with a low medium carbonation level. I take a sip and I get a sweet fruit punch with an authentic maraschino cherry finish. The punch is a just the right sweetness level. Sometime fruit punch drinks are too sweet and leave you thirsty but this one is not so. There is no bitterness or after taste. Grade B
Kick/Ingredients: So I tried it one day after a work out when I was feeling tired. Thus drink really delivered. I got a really nice buzz going. This is just a notch above your typical Monster or Rockstar. I was filled with jittery sugar and caffeine energy for a good 4 hours. Yes there was some crash at the end but nothing epic. Rip It F bomb is powered by 210 mg Caffeine, 2000 mg Taurine, Guarana, Inositol, a good dose of B vitamins, and plenty of vitamin C. This comes with 260 calories and 66 grams of carbs and sugar. It is sweetened with HFC. I’ll give it a solid B for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: The site at ripitenergy.com has much improved since last I went there. They have plenty of drink info and also a store locator, team rip it athletes, and info on a tasting tour. They also have a Facebook. I’ll give them a B for web presence
Recap:
So I really don’t think you can do better for the price. Unless you hit Biglots and find a good strong drink for 60 cents or something. Then again that is a crap shoot and Rip it F bomb for 99 cents is a for real deal. It taste pretty good and delivers an above average kick. Hard to go wrong here.
