Yikes energy shots (3 flavors)
So my buddy Joe was out of town and when he got back he said he found some energy shots. Usually it is a let down since I have most likely already tried them. To my surprise he hand over 3 shots flavor and it is a brand I have never heard of. Reasearch tells me these are a store brand shot from E-Z Mart. Let’s check them out.
Packaging: Typical 2 oz plastic white shot bottle. From there it gets better with each shot flavor having it’s on colorful whimsical design. Waves, dots, diamonds and such grace each on and they are all so fun. Really I like these bottles a lot and that is pretty cool for a store brand. Grade A-
Slogan: None to be found. Grade F
Taste: Watermelon: Orange colored liquid with a mild watermelon scent greets me when I pour some in a cup. I take a sip and it is a really sweet watermelon candy flavor. It taste good with a nice tart finish giving it a nice zing at the end. Not bitterness or after taste. Grade B+
Kick/Ingredients: Surprisingly each time I tried one of these shots it delivered pretty well. In 15 minutes I was a wake with some mid level energy and had a nice non jittery buzz going for about 3 to 4 hours with no crash. I’d put it on par with a 5 hr energy shot as far as buzz. Just like regular 5 hr it has an 1870mg energy blend. Yikes blend consist of Caffeine, Glucuronolactone, N Acetyl L Tyrosine, Taurine, malic acid, Citicoline and a good dose of B vitamins. No enzyme blend though. You get this with 5 calories and 3 grams of carbs. There is no sugar as it is sweetened with sucralose. Grade B-

You know for a store brand these are some pretty good shots. Maybe not quite as strong as 5 hour but the Watermelon flavor is way better tasting. E-Z Mart is a chain in Texas so if your are down this way you might want to check these shots out especially if they are a cheaper price.
