Zenergy
So this one came out of the blue. It is not often that I don’t hear about new products before they actually hit the shelves. The folks at Zenergy contacted me about reviewing their shot. Anytime a company contacts me first I figure they are confident they have a good product. Will this be the case with Zenergy? They sent me a few shots so let’s see.
Packaging: Right off the bat Zenergy at least breaks the mold by starting by something other than the typical energy shot bottle. They present their shot in a 2 oz shot but it is a 4.5 inch tall slim one. The label is red with some tribal background and also has the Chinese symbol for Zen to go along with the name. Pretty nice label I think and I think the bottle will grab your attention. I also like the secondary seal under the lid which keeps the product fresh.Grade B-
Slogan: “Feel the Zen Power” is on their site. It is mixed in some paragraph but I think it will work and they should us it more prominently. Grade C
Taste: So I open the lid and I am greeted with a sweet fruity scent I can’t pin down. Pouring the shot in a cup it comes out a bright yellow color. I take a sip and it is very interesting. I get a mixed berry flavor initially but there is more to it. I can swear it reminds me of a banana snow cone also. Very tasty and unique for sure. It is just sweet enough to cover the ingredients. I did detect a hint of bitterness at the finish but it was very faint and better than what you are used to in shots. I give them a solid B+ for taste.
Kick/Ingredients: I tried this shot several times and each one performed pretty well. On a long bike ride I felt it delivered some good sustained focus and energy that lasted quite a while. Trying it at work it really picked me up and got me focused. I was alert, focused and calm with no jitters. I really was in a great and productive mood for a good 4 to 5 hours with no crash. I really enjoyed this buzz. It was not intense but it was just pleasant as hell lol. Each shot is delivers this unique energy with caffeine from Green tea, caffeine(the usual cup of coffee amount), Gaba, Guarana, L-Theanine, and some B vitamins. You het this with 10 calories and no Sugar. It is sweetened with Sucralose and Ace K. Grade C+

Ok so this is a great tasting shot. What I like most about it though is its focused energy. It is a great shot for exercising or even working around the house or office. You won’t have any jitters but you will have the smooth energy to perform no matter what you are doing. Check it out and let me know what you think.
