Yea, all day and nighttime yours, leave me never

Allday Energy

Ok so here we have another shot. It appears on the surface to be a 5 hour clone. We we need to know is if it is a clone or does it stand out in some way.

Packaging: It comes in your typical shot bottle. It has some nice flames on the label as well a bullet list of benefits. Nothing stellar overall but it has a look that is a little more aggressive than 5 Hour does. Still it is not to aggressive for your typical 5 Hour shot drinker. Grade C+

Slogan: “Energy for Success” Is their slogan and I like it. It is not catchy or cool but it nails the market it is aiming at. This shot should appeal to the soccer mom, office worker, teacher, ect. It’s not a shot for your extreme sports junkie or kids. Good job on a slogan for your market. Grade B

Taste: Twisting off the lid I get just a very light berry scent. Pouring some in a cup it comes out a brownish cranberry red. Taking a sip it has a vague berry flavor that I really can’t pin down. It is tart at the finish and not overly sweet. There is a tiny bit of after taste but nothing major. While it is not delicious or anything it is not bad either. As far as shots go it is better than your average shot. Grade C+

Kick/Ingredients: Ok so even though it is an Allday shot I took it on night shift since I’m sure it won’t care what time it is. It took only 15 minutes before I was much more alert. It was a smooth mid level boost of energy that allowed me to hammer out some paperwork late at night without any tiredness creeping up on me. I stayed focused and relaxed with some pretty good concentration. No jitters at all and it lasted a good 4 to 5 hours with no crash. The lineup of ingredients is a little different than a lot of shots and include Caffeine(equivalent to 2 cups of coffee), Taurine 250 mg, Ginseng 50 mg, Glucuronolactone, L-Arginine  L-Carnitine ,Ribose, a good dose of B vitamins, and some vitamin C. You get 0 calories or carbs and it is sweetened with Sucralose and Ace K.  Grade B- for kick

Web Presence: The site at alldayenergy.net is ok. It provides ingredients info, a faq, A store, and “our Story” section. It is nothing special but gets the job done just fine for this small company. They also have a Facebook page.  Grade C for web presence

Recap:

Ok so this is somewhat of a 5 hour clone but then again it is different. It has higher caffeine content and some different ingredients. It taste good and it provides a smooth productive buzz that last. I think it is worth trying if you are a fan of 5 hour energy. It will provide similar results and will be a break from the same old thing.
