Amp Energy Juice Mixed Berry

So Amp Energy Juice was one of my favorite Amp products ever. For that reason I can’t wait to try the mixed berry flavor. I really enjoy the fact that I can get my caffeine and morning juice all in one drink. It is great for those days when I don’t have time for a real breakfast. Let’s see how the berry flavor is.
Packaging: As with the other flavor this one comes in the really nice plastic juice bottle. This is one of the best ideas I have seen in a while. People are used to getting their juice in a container like this. The bottle itself has a nice label and looks pretty appealing. I like the fact that the caffeine content is listed on the label. Grade B+ for packaging
Slogans: “Consider This Your Wakeup Call”. I love this slogan and it works so well with the idea behind this drink. Grade A- for slogan
Taste ect. So I started my day out by opening the bottle. The liquid inside is a reddish orange color. It smells like morning juice. I take a drink and it starts off with a white grape and orange juice mix and is followed by just a little hint of berry. Really it pretty much taste like the orange version except the white grape is more prominent. It is unique and tasty but I am surprised by the lack of much berry flavor. There is no bitterness or energy ingredients taste. It really tastes like juice and is fairly natural tasting. Grade B-
Kick/Ingredients: With no carbonation this drink goes down fast. I was easily energized within 10 to 15 minutes. This stuff is your wake up call. I think the juice and the caffeine work well together to get you off to a good start. I had a good buzz and my morning went well. It was a good 4 hours before I had a mild crash and felt the need for some more caffeine. Amp juice is powered by 120 mg caffeine, Taurine, Ginseng, Guarana, and some decent amounts of B vitamins. Then you get 100% of your vitamin C, along with some vitamin E and some calcium and magnesium. All of this comes with 190 calories, 47 grams of carbs, and 41 grams of sugars. Grade B for kick/ingredients
Web presence: The site at ampenergy.com is not bad. It offers a lot of content on sports like racing and snowboarding. It also has a store locator and some ingredients info. It is not as good as I remember it being in the past but it is still a nice flash site. They also have a Facebook and a Twitter. Grade B for web presence
Recap:
Like the orange flavor of Amp energy juice this one performs pretty well. It should since it is exactly the same except for some of the flavoring. There is no added berry juice and really very little berry flavor. I don’t really get it. Why make a mixed berry juice without much berry flavor. Don’t get me wrong it taste good but it is really not much different than the orange flavor. Either way it is hard to go wrong with having an Amp energy juice to start off your day.
