B52 energy drink Peach
Well this is one of those drinks that just grabbed my attention with the can. The design stands out in a crowded case with all the other drinks. I was even happier to see it had a unique flavor. Peach! I have yet to see a full blown carbonated Peach flavored energy drink until this one. Let’s hope it is good.
Packaging: B52 comes in a 16 oz black aluminum can. The can has some green text circling the top that touts the energy ingredients. In the center of the can is a graphic logo of a B52 bomber that looks like it is bursting out of the can. The name B 52 in a cool retro type font. There are also some green stripes running down the can behind the logo. At the bottom is the flavor “Peach” in a peach color that matches the energy drink portion of the logo. I really like the retro styling of this can. B52 is a powerful plane so I think it is a cool logo and name. On the back is the usual supplement facts and ingredients. This can will stand out well against the flashier energy drink cans. I will give them a grade of B for packaging
Slogan: The only real slogan I see is on the side of the can and it reads “Refreshes and energizes mind and body” Now this is not a bad slogan but with the whole B52 theme they could of come up with a much cooler slogan. I will give them a C for slogan.
Taste: I open the can and I immediately get the smell of peaches. Peaches just get your mouth watering from the scent alone and B52 has this smell down. I pour some in a cup and I am surprised by the color. It is a light green drink with medium carbonation. I drink some and it is a nice crisp peach flavor. Like a peach soda! I drink it pretty quickly. It taste very good and sweet. The sweet works well with the peach flavor and they blend together well so there is gumminess. Sometimes with a real sweet drink you are left thirsty. No so with this one. It was very refreshing and would go well on a summer day. I will give them a grade of A for flavor.
Kick/ingredients. I drink the whole can and got a pretty good boost of energy. The energy lasted just a couple of hours and I did have a mild crash at the end. B52 energy drink peach comes in at around 100 mg of caffeine per can the other energy ingredient amounts are not disclosed (proprietary blend). The energy ingredients are Ginseng, ginko biloba, inositol, and taurine. There are also a bunch of b vitamins in large amounts like 800% of your rda for B12 and 250% of your rda of B6. The other main ingredients are Carbonated water and HFC. There are 220 calories, 54 grams of sugar, and 56 grams of carbs. I will give them a C+ for kick. It was strong to start but did not last as long as I would of liked.
Web presence: Update! They have a website at drink-b52.com. The site looks pretty nice and sticks with the B52 theme of the can. It’s not one of those fancy professional flash sites but the lay out and overall look is very nice. You have product info, reviews, contact information, and distributor info. I really like the dark coloring and style. I will give them a grade of C for web presence.

I think if this was just a soda I would drink it for the flavor alone. The fact that it is an energy drink is like a bonus. If you like peach then grab one of these and give it a try. Just a few sips and it’s like being transported to a sunny mild summer day from the past. You won't be lounging in the hammock though after the energy kicks in.
