Ballistic energy supplement
Once again I’m branching out into more diverse energy products. This time it is Ballistic energy capsules. These little capsules come highly recommended to me by a trusted source. Based on the info I have I am looking forward to trying these.
Packaging: Ballistic energy caps come in either a box of 20 or a blister pack of 2. The box is typical of a medicine type box in shape and size. It is a black box that has a tab at the top so you can hang it on a display. On the hanging tag you have the name Ballistic with some graduated orange bars next to it as well as the phrases “Fast Acting Long Lasting” and “High Performance Energy” all in a nice edgy orange or yellow font. On the main part of the box you have a big explosion yellow graphic with the name “Ballistic” in a nice yellow font and “Energy Supplement” in white all in a black rectangle placed on top of the explosion. On the back you have supplement fact as well as a paragraph about the product. It is a pretty eye grabbing package with the nice fonts and the yellow explosion screaming “this is powerful stuff” to you. It is not overly busy and looks like a serious energy product I think. I give them a grade of B for packaging.
Slogan: “Go Ballistic” Simple and unique to the product. It incorporates the name and really is a top notch energy product slogan. I think it works very well and I give it a grade of B+
Taste: There is really no taste unless you want to suck on them and I really don’t think you are supposed to do that. Why would you want to? Grade NA for taste
Kick/Ingredients: You know I tried these at last 3 times before writing this review. Each time I was blown away. You toss 2 of these back with a drink (I suggest a soda or juice). Then you wait 20 to 30 minutes. I know that might be a while longer than you are used to but it is worth the wait. In 20 minutes I start to feel more alert. In 30 minutes I am fully awake and have a good level of energy. From then on it just builds. It’s unlike any energy product I have tried. The energy seems to peak for me in hours 1 to 3. During this time I am jacked up to the max. Not really jittery but trust me it is no mid level buzz. I am going strong with tons of energy and focus. I am brainstorming ideas, getting work done in a rapid fashion. I took a break for a 1 hour bike ride to the bank and then came back with energy to spare for working on some paper work. From hours 3 to 5 I am still going pretty strong with a slight taper and then around hour 6 I am finally winding down with no crash at all. These little puppies are loaded with some good stuff. Caffeine(approx 200mg per 2 capsule serving), Rhodiola extract, Theobromine, Taurine, L-Carnitine, L-Tyrosine, L-Phenylalanine, Asian Ginseng, Guarana, Bioperin® (Black Pepper fruit extract), a lot of B6 1200% dv, and B12 200% dv. All packed into a vegetarian capsule. Yes Ballistic is all natural and vegetarian. I give it a grade of A- for kick/ingredients.
Web Presence: There is a website at ballisticenergy.com that is ok. It has a lot of cool images of sports and is pretty easy to navigate. It has a faq, testimonials, store, and an about section. It is pretty nice but really I’d like to see more in depth ingredients info. You’re not going to spend a lot of time there but it gets the job done. Grade C for web presence

Ok so it is a pill and that has the portability factor working for it. Throw a pack of these in your purse, lunch box, briefcase, or back pack and you have a lot of energy potential at hand where ever you go. These little pills also allow you to control how much energy you get. If you are a lightweight try 1 capsule. If you’re an edjunkie go for 2. You are going to like these a lot I think. It does not matter if you’re headed to the office, a party, a study session, or for some athletic endeavor. These will give you the energy you need. Just plan ahead a bit since these take longer to hit you.
