Bang! Caffeinated Ice Cream
Once in a while an energy product comes along that just does it all right. Sure there are a lot that nail the taste but they often fail in the kick/ingredients area. Then there are those that have a great strong kick but don’t taste like something you want to consume all the time. Will Bang deliver in both areas or just one? Let’s check out all 4 flavors!
Packaging: Nothing groundbreaking as to packaging shape/materials. You have your typical cardboard round pint. The graphics and label however really are top notch though. To me it really has a nice retro look to it. I like how the name Bang!! Looks like it is bursting out of the container. Each flavor has different graphics depending on the flavor. I like how the list the caffeine amount per scoop. I like how they have fun with the flavor names. Fun and functional. Grade A-
Slogan: “Worlds most caffeinated ice cream” is on the web site and while true is not exactly exciting. Then again the name of the product alone is good enough that you don’t really need a slogan. Still I’ll give them a C+
Taste:
Kick/Ingredients: So seeing as they have nailed the taste I was anxious to see if it kicked. Damn! I think they need to put a jackass on the label. No not Steve O or Johnny Knoxville but a donkey. I swear after hammering down a scoop it hit me hard and fast. Of course I consumed no less than 2 scoops so I was full on wired by the time I made myself stop. Surprisingly I was not very jittery but really I was going good. I had a really strong buzz that filled me with fun energy for a good 3 to 4 hours with no crash. On the label it says each scoop(4 per pint) is equal to 1 energy drink. Not a mediocre 80 mg RB clone either. Each scoop contains 125 mg of sweet sweet caffeine. That is a total of 500mg if you choose to eat the entire pint. Of course you get a bunch of calories and fat along with this but you will probably burn that off bouncing around the room. They use quality cream, milk, and real cane sugar in here. The caffeine comes from Guarana seed extract. Grade A for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: The site bangicecream.com is an easy winner with a similar design as their labels. It is a fun site and it gives you good product info to go along with retail locations and a place online where you can have some delivered to your door. They also have a Facebook and a Twitter. Grade B

Ok I will put my hand on the Religious tome of your choice and swear under oath that this is one of the greatest caffeinated products I have ever tried. Seriously it delivers on all fronts. There is a flavor for everyone and it delivers a really strong kick of caffeinated energy. I have a little left and I am going to make me one awesome caffeinated ice cream shake later. Serve this to a party full of 8yr old little boys for even more fun. Girlfriend making you watch a chic flick? Stay awake easy with a pint of bang! There are a lot of fun possibilities so I suggest buying a lot. In the end though you will probably just eat it all yourself. Disclaimer: No Moms were punched or kids crated during this review. Serve highly caffeinated ice cream to large groups kids at your own risk.
