Battery Gingered energy drink
Wow the Battery energy drink people are really bringing it. This will be my 3rd Battery review and so far they have been great. I am happy to be reviewing their new flavor here.
Packaging: Battery Gingered comes in their short 11.2 oz can. The can is black but this time instead of gold the can is accented in silver. There are some silver arrows circling the top of the can. There is a big white and silver + at the top like on a battery. The name “Battery” is in Black and silver font vertical along with “Gingered” in a nice Silver cursive font. This cursive font looks really cool. The name and the + are repeated several times on the can. I will give them a grade of B for packaging. Once again they do a great job. I like the fact that the silver is used as well as the cursive font.
Slogan: None on the can but on the website you have. “Keeps you going”. Not really exciting but a battery does keep things going so it fits well with the product. Grade of C+ for slogan
Taste: I pop the top open and it smells like your typical energy drink. I pour some in a glass and it comes out a light golden color with a good amount of carbonation. I take a sip and it is a really ginger ale flavor. There is an undertone of classic energy drink taste as well. It has the ginger spiciness to it but it is smooth and the carbonation level really draws it all together. I think this would make an awesome mixer as well. I like the fact that it is not overly sweet and has no bitterness or aftertaste. I give them a grade of B for taste
Kick/Ingredients: I drank this battery Gingered drink with lunch (goes well with food like a soda would) and I’d say I was on my way within 15 minutes. I tapped in to the battery core and drew out plenty of energy to power me past the after lunch slump and did not slow down until 4 hours later. There was no crash at all. This Battery is powered by 106mg of caffeine, 1333mg of Taurine, maltodextrin, Guarana, and plenty of B vitamins. You all this with 113 calories from what I can tell( the can is not all in English). I will give them a B for kick/ingredients. For a 12 oz can this kicks more like a 16 oz drink.
Web Presence: They have a really nice site at batterydrink.com. Very cool layout and very professionally done. You get Product info, news, contest, games, availability, and a battery action section with some cool video clips. Really a nice fun site that will keep you busy for a while. Grade B

If you are lucky enough to find one of these grab it. It is a nice change of pace. It’s got a great ginger ale flavor, a very good kick, and it comes in really cool can. Did I mention it would make a great mixer? Wake up after a big night on the town and this drink will give you energy and the ginger will sooth your stomach even! I'm hoping Battery can make some inroads here in the states. Can’t wait to try the next battery drink.
