Battery Juiced energy drink
On to my fourth Battery energy drink review. This time it is the Battery juiced. I have a promo bottle of Battery Juiced but I will be using an image of the final product can so you can get an idea of what it will look like. I always take my own photos but occasionally make an exception when the product is not in its final form.
Packaging: Battery Juiced comes in their short 11.2 oz can as well as a larger plastic bottle. The can is black and is accented in gold. There are some orange arrows circling the top of the can. There is a big white + at the top like on a battery. The name “Battery” is orange this time to go along with the juice theme. Also next to the phrase “Energy Drink” is printed “With Real orange juice”. Now for the really cool part. The name “Juiced” is printed and the font is made of a orange peel pattern like it was carved out of an orange. The effect is very cool. I will give them a grade of B+ for packaging. This is one of the best designs from them. I can’t wait to get my hands on the final product to add to my collection. The font for the juiced portion really is great.
Slogan: They stick with“Keeps you going”. This is their standard slogan and it works well. Not real catchy but gets the message across well. Grade of C+ for slogan
Taste: I pop the top and get a nice orange juice scent. Pouring some in a glass it comes out looking a lot like orange juice. It is just a shade lighter and maybe a tad bit yellow mixed in. it has a medium carbonation. I take a sip and it really tastes a lot like orange juice and maybe a hint of pineapple for some bite. In the background there is also some classic battery energy drink taste. There is no gumminess or after taste at all and the carbonation brings it all together to make it one of the best tasting juice based energy drinks. Grade B+ for taste
Kick/Ingredients: I had the larger bottle but for the review I drank a amount equivalent to the usual battery can(I shared the rest). I drank it as a morning beverage and it was a great way to start the day. Quicker than a cup of coffee I was awake and ready to start the day. I got a lot of things done and out of the way and was really in a great mood. I usually don’t get this much done early and tend to do more in the afternoon but the buzz from Battery juiced propelled me to be productive. This Battery juiced is basicly the same formula as the other batter drinks with 106mg of caffeine, 1300mg of Taurine, maltodextrin, Guarana, plenty of B vitamins, and a good dose of vitamin C. You get all this with 60 calories(as far as I could figure). I will give them a B for kick/ingredients. For a 12 oz can this kicks more like a 16 oz drink. It is pretty light on the calories as well.
Web Presence: They have a really nice site at batterydrink.com. Very cool layout and very professionally done. You get Product info, news, contest, games, availability, and a battery action section with some cool video clips. Really a nice fun site that will keep you busy for a while. Grade B
Recap:
So I think this is one of the best juiced energy drinks out there. It is low on the calories and has an awesome taste. With 30% juice it is a great way to start your day instead of a coffee or a juice you can get it all in one drink. If you really want a kick look out for the .45L bottle for even more power. Once again Battery has shown me they have what it takes to be a leader in the energy drink market. Now I just need to get my hands on the final product so I can add this awesome can to my collection.
