Battery Stripped Energy drink

Well I had enjoyed the original battery energy drink quite a bit so I was really looking forward to trying this one. I’m always looking to cut back on the sugar.
Packaging: The Battery Stripped is in a newly designed can. It is still very unique coming in an 11.2 oz aluminum can. The can is solid black with a big + sign at the top like a battery. The name “Battery” is in gold vertical up the can and it reads “Stripped” in a modern looking red font above it. Below the name it reads “energy drink” in white and “No sugar” in red. This whole thing is on 2 sides of the can. On the other sides are ingredients as well as the actual amounts of energy ingredients on one side. It is always a plus in my book when you know how much of each key ingredient you are getting. While this can is similar to the original Battery energy drink, this new design is much more streamlined and smooth. I will give them a B for packaging. I love the whole battery idea as well as using “Stripped” to denote that it is sugar free.
Slogan: There on the website you have. “Keeps you going”. Not really exciting but a battery does keep things going so it fits well with the product. Grade of C+ for slogan
Taste: I open the can and get the classic energy drink/RB clone smell. I pour some in a glass and it comes out caramel colored with a medium carbonation. I take a sip and the flavor is as you expect. It’s RB clone tasting but better then most all of the RB sugar free type drinks I have tried. You have some apple, pear, and citrus followed by some white grape. The level of sweetness is light and not overly artificial for a sugar free drink. I will give them a grade of B for flavor. This is very drinkable and taste very good for a sugar free drink.
Kick/Ingredients: Battery is really an international drink and because of this the ingredients may vary by country do to laws and such. The one I have is from the USA.I drank this when I was feeling a little run down in the afternoon. I was alert and out of my afternoon slump within 15 minutes and I powered through until the evening 3 to 4 hours later. There was no crash to speak of since there is no sugar. It’s always a trade off with sugar free drinks. The energy is not as long lasting but then you don’t crash. Not a problem here though since you can always have a second can of battery stripped if you need to keep going and you won’t have to worry about the calories! The energy in Battery Stripped comes from 106mg of caffeine, 1333mg of Taurine, maltodextrin, Guarana, and a healthy dose of B vitamins. I will give Battery Stripped Energy drink a grade of B for kick. This is a pretty strong sugar free energy drink.
Web Presence: batterydrink.com is a pretty nice. The site has nice graphics that are fun to watch and is loaded with information as well as fun things to check out. You have Product info, News, formula 1 racing info, Availability (over 30 countries!), and even games so you can use all they energy you get while at work! It has a lot to see and do. I will give them a grade of B for web presence. Nice fun site.
Recap:
Battery has shown me they are one of the premier energy drinks coming out of Europe. I am glad to see them getting into the USA now so we can enjoy them as well. This is my second Battery drink and I really thought it was great. If you like a good kick and you want to watch your sugar intake then I suggest you get yourself some Battery stripped. You will be happy you did.
