Dyna Pep Micro Energy Shot
Every once in a while there is something new and different that comes along in the energy product field. Dyna Pep is one of those. It’s not a shot it is a micro shot. It’s only 4 ml of liquid yet it has the kick of your average energy drink or shot. Let’s check it out.
Packaging: Dyna pep comes attached to a cardboard blister pack. Being that it is so tiny there is no room to print anything on the actual plastic ampoule. The ampoule itself is clear plastic with a little twist off lid kind of like something medicine would come in. On the cardboard you have “Dyna Pep” at the top in a wicked looking red font. Below the name is “Energy Micro-Shot” and “Time Released Supplement” in a yellow font. The majority of the package is purple covered with an image of flames covering it. The ampoule itself is centered towards the bottom and has some highlight of what this micro shot is all about on both sides of it. At the bottom is a tiny American flag in one corner and a “As seen on TV” logo in the other corner. Back has supplement facts. I give them a grade of A- for packaging. The ampoule is totally unique as far as energy product go and the blister pack has an aggressive look to it that should attract attention from energy drink consumers.
Slogan: “The World’s First Supercharged Energy Micro-Shot” is on the package and I think it works well at getting the message out about the uniqueness as well as the energy qualities of this product. Grade B
Taste: You can mix it in another beverage or you can just drink it straight. I think just drinking it is the way to go. I’m sure the mixing would work well but the whole idea of it being so small goes with just being able to drink it. I twist off the top and squeeze the ampoule squirting it in my mouth. It is a little bit bitter and there is a hint of berry flavor and some sweetness. Really it is so small that both are negligible. I mean you expect it to be bitter since it is packed with vitamins and caffeine but it’s not as bad as some larger shots I have tried and there is not near as much. There is no scent from it and the taste fades quickly. Grade B for taste. I think they did a fine job fitting all the stuff into the 4 mls without horrible tatse.
Kick/Ingredients: This drink hit me in like 2 minutes. I was amped up but not to jittery levels. I had a good buzz that lasted me 4 or 5 hours easily and I got a lot done including driving a long distance and doing some boring stuff. I never even got tired one time. Pretty impressive for such a small shot. Key ingredients are Caffeine 80 mg, 2-amino-4-methylhexane, Conjugated linoleic acid, 6000% Dv B12, and Chromium Polynicotinate. There are only 2 calories, 1 gram of fat, and 0 carbs. All of this is delivered using Nano technology for high sustained absorption and is supposed to have a time released suspension. I’d say that pans out well since it seems such a small shot would hit super hard and fade fast and this shot lasted a good while. Grade B+ for kick. Pretty good kick for such a small quantity.
Web Presence: dynapep.com is a very professional site. It is easy to navigate and has a lot of content. There is plenty of multimedia content as well as info on ordering. Dyna Pep also sponsors a lot of events. Dyna Pep sponsors UFC fighter Rashad Evans who just won the UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 92. Rashad is a big time MMA fighter and this is good for Dyna Pep I think. I think that maybe the site could have more ingredients info as well as tone the whole “As Seen On TV bit”. There is not a myspace page that I could find but they do have some cool videos on Youtube. I will give them a Grade of B for web

I very highly suggest you try this Dyna Pep micro shot. This has to be the most portable shot out there. You could put 2 or 3 in your pocket easily and you don’t need to mix it with anything. It hits you faster than any energy product I have tried and last surprisingly long for such a tiny shot. This could well be the next big thing in energy products. I have high hopes it can even get me (and maybe you) into the same shape as Rashad Evans. Ok that last one is probably a pipe dream but I am sure this micro shot will power you through a workout at mucho increased levels!
