I'm the fireball of the party, I'm the fire

Fireball

So the drinks are still coming out. Sometimes it seems most of the new energy products are everything except drinks. It is nice to get a drink for a change. Fireball while not new is new to the USA. Let’s check it out

Packaging:  Ok it is your typical classic 8.4 oz/250 ml energy drink can. I really like it though. It is black, slick and clean looking. No clutter just the name a small fireball, and the words energy drink on the front. On the back is drink info in a ton of different languages since this is really and international product. Grade B

Slogan: “Get fired up” Is one I found on their Facebook page. I wish it was easier to find but it is a pretty good drink specific slogan. Grade B

Taste:  So I pop the top and right away I get that familiar energy drink scent. It is not overly pungent like some classic style drinks I notice and that is a plus. Pouring some in a glass it comes out a golden color with medium carbonation. I take a sip and it is a really nicely done classic(RB clone) flavor. It has the usual white grape/apple/bubblegum flavor with a hint of vanilla. It is neither gummy nor medicinal though which makes it very enjoyable. There is no bitterness or aftertaste. Overall while nothing ground breaking you will enjoy it if you like Red Bull. Grade B-
Kick/Ingredients: So I drank a can down pretty quickly and it took about 15 minutes to get to me. It was a pretty mild boost as expected since it has less caffeine than most energy drinks. I think this makes it a good mixer so you don’t overdo the caffeine while drinking all night at the club or pub. I got maybe 2 hours of mild jitter free energy with no crash. This drink is powered by about 40 mg Caffeine, Taurine, Inositol, Glucuronolactone, and some B vitamins. Not sure about the calories but it is sweetened with sugar. Grade C- for kick/ingredients

Web Presence: This drink is sold in 27 countries but I’ll suggest you go to the USA website at fireballus.com where you will find events, info, and a store. They also have a Facebook page. Not bad for just starting out. Grade C

Recap:

So what we have here is a lower caffeine energy drink that taste really good. I know they are international so that is one reason they keep the caffeine content down. Some countries limit the caffeine amount by law. Still I can say this drink is worth trying especially if you are planning on drinking several. I can see this being a big hit at bars and clubs in place of Red Bull. I say give it a try and let me know what you think.
