Go Fast GFTEA

Ok so Go Fast has been around for a while. For some reason I never tried it though. Well that is going to change.  Go Fast is expanding their line up with 2 new drinks. I will be trying the Tea based drink first.

Packaging: Starts out in a 16 oz can. The can is Black and white split by diagonal sliver portion. Right at the top in the white portion is the slogan followed by the name “GFTea” all in red font. In the silver diagonal section is the Go Fast logo which is pretty sharp I think. In the black portion is a bullet list of key ingredients in silver font. At the very bottom it Reads “Bioenergy Ribose” in a red font. Back has supplement facts. I like the clean look of white and the Go Fast logo works well I think. The entire cans stands out well in the cooler next to all the other energy drinks. Grade B

Slogans:  “Stronger For Longer” Well hard to fault that. Since Go Fast bills itself as a “Sport” energy drink this logo works very well. Grade B

Taste:  Ok so lately I have had a variety of Tea flavors. Green tea, Red tea, Black tea. Well Go Fast has 3 kinds of tea all in one drink! I pop the top and pour some in a glass. It comes out a cloudy green tea color with a medium to light carbonation.  I drink some down and I am surprised.  To me it has a mixed berry flavor up front followed by some smooth non bitter tea taste and then at the finish it comes across with a light strawberry honey flavor.  Really it is really hard to pin down the taste exactly.  I tell you what this is one of the more complex tea based energy drinks I have had. Grade B for taste

Kick/Ingredients.  So after I finished this 16 oz can I have to tell you I got seriously wired up. In the first 30 minutes it was just an ok buzz but by the time the second hour came around I was really going strong. This is not a sitting around energy drink. I was working on my site and watching some tv but had to abandon that and get out and go for a bike ride to burn off some of the energy.  I easily got 4 to 5 hours of explosive energy with only minimal crash. Ok so what’s in this stuff? Caffeine 160 mg, 2000 mg Taurine, Ribose 400 mg, Ginseng, Guarana, Ginko Biloba, Inositol, and a good dose of B vitamins. Top that off with black, green, and white tea, honey, and sucrose. You get 220 calories, 50 grams of carbs, and 48 grams of sugar. Go Fast GFTea is all natural to top it all off. Grade A- for kick/ingredients

Web presence: gofastsports.com  is a pretty nice site. I did not find a lot of product info but there is a lot to do and see there like videos and photos, and about us section, a store and more. They are into sports so there is all kinds of sports stuff there and there is a funny commercial as well featuring some parkour. I did notice that the website is available in 13 countries and I don’t mean just a translation but actual different sites for different countries. 1 last thing is that the site is being revamped and should be even better soon. Grade B for web presence.  1 last thing is you can follow Gofast on twitter at GOFASTENERGY

Recap:

You know I was really impressed with Go Fast and regret that I had not tried it sooner. I will definitely be trying all the other Go fast drinks soon. The GFTEA is a unique elusive flavor that deserves to be tried multiple times since it is so complex. The kick was potent and pretty long lasting. I am pretty sure this will be one of my go to drinks for bike rides and sports. It is all natural which many will find appealing as well. It is new but I highly suggest when you find it you give it a try. Email me and let me know what you think. Read my interview with Go Fast
