Ok so every once in a while I get my hands on energy products from overseas and it is always a treat. I wish I traveled overseas more and this would be easy to do. I was lucky to get my hands in some of the new ishots from the company. It’s a lot easier to get shots from overseas since the shipping on full size drinks is just too high.
Packaging: This package is different than your typical shot. It looks larger but at 60ml it is still approx 2 oz. It has a nice slick black shrink wrap label with a big red dot in the middle. I like how it is very minimalist without a bunch of clutter on the label. I think they might want to add the word energy somewhere on the label though. This is the most tamper proof bottle I have seen with a shrink wrap over the lid as well as a sealed plastic lid underneath. Nice job I think overall and I give it a grade of B- for packaging
Slogans: 2 choices. “iShot hits the spot” is on the website and on the bottle you have “Healthy energy all day” I think they got it covered well with both. One slogan is catchy and the other a good selling point. Grade B for slogans
Taste ect: Ok so I had no idea what flavor to expect since it is called “Original”. I open the top and get a sweet scent. Really I have no clue how to describe it. I think it reminds me of berries and candy but there is something else there I can’t pin down. I pour it in a cup and it comes out a red colored liquid. I take a sip and it is sweet and watery. The flavor is just as mysterious as the scent. I think it is some type of berry but then again it is totally foreign. It taste pretty good but it is also the most unique shot I have tried in a while. There is only a hint of bitterness at the finish. Grade C+ for taste
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so I slammed it on down around midnight on a night shift at work. It hit me pretty hard and fast right off the bat. I got a really good burst of energy that had me energized and talkative. There were no jitters but it was definitely stronger then your typical shot and it really surprised me. I was able to really get my work done at a rapid pace and I really felt focused and alert. At the same time it had me cranking up the music(The Crooked vultures) and jamming while I worked and singing along(good thing I work in a room by myself!). I was easily energized for 5 hours with no real crash at the end. This iShot is powered by 120 mg Caffeine, Taurine, Guarana, Inositol, Glucuronolactone, L-Carnitine ,Siberian Ginseng, Maltodextrin, and a full selection of B vitamins in the 100+% Dv range. It also has some Green tea extract. You get all this with 15 calories and 2.2 grams of carbs. There is no sugar and it is sweetened with Sucralose and ace k. I like that they use real Siberian Ginseng and not the inferior Panax type. Grade B for kick/ingredients
Web presence: The website at ishotenergy.com is really top notch and has tons of products info. Not a lot of fluff there just good information packed site that is designed well and includes a store as well. The prices seem more reasonable than a lot of shots I have seen sold in the UK. They also have a Facebook, and a Twitter. Grade A- for web presence

Ok so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this shot. It has a nice secure package with slick looks, a really interesting taste, and a top notch kick of energy that last. I think this is one shot that will take the Uk market by storm as soon as word gets out. If you live overseas or you are visiting keep an eye out for this one. It will keep you going for sure what ever you are doing.
