OC Energy Kik-it Diet
I’ve really enjoyed the kik It drinks so far and I’m sad to say this is my last one. Word has it that they have something in the works though so there is hope. I like the fact that they are non carbonated and smooth.
Packaging: OC Kik-it comes in the same cool 10.14 oz uniquely shaped plastic bottle. It is a curvy kind of dumbbell shaped bottle with a screw on lid. The bottle is shrink wrapped with a green label with an interesting swirl patter in the background and solid black around the bottom. I like the green better than the red of the original. Around the neck of the bottle it reads diet several times. Then just below that is the OC energy logo. In the middle are the 3 silhouettes of young hip people who look like they might be dressed for the beach. At the bottom it reads “Kik-it Diet Energy drink” in a yellow graffiti type font. On the back you get your nutrition facts along with a little blurb about how Kik-it is good alone or as a mixer. I will give them a grade of A- nice design and good label.
Slogan: Well the last bottle I had of the original OC Kik-it had a slogan on the lid. This one does not. So no slogan to speak of. I will give them a grade of NA. Come on guys we need a slogan here.
Taste: OC Kik-it diet comes out of the bottle looking like OC original. It is a light blue color with no carbonation. It does not have much smell except for a hint of berries. I take a sip and it taste great. It is the same mixed berry and citrus flavor of the Original Kik-it. I actually have to say that I think this diet version actually taste a bit better. It goes down smooth with just a hint of an aftertaste. I also tried mixing it with some vodka and it held up really well. It is rare that a diet version actually improves on the taste like this one does. I will give it a B for taste.
Kick/ingredients. I needed to wake up and get some work done when I drank the whole bottle this morning and Kik-it Diet worked out well. It got me going good with a mid level boost that gave me no jitters or crash. I was going well for 3 to 4 hours and the buzz just tapered off. Amounts are unknown but its energy ingredients are Taurine ,caffeine, Ginseng , and Guarana along with a host of B vitamins and 100% of you Vitamin C. It no calories, no sugar and no carbs. It is sweetened with ace k. I will give it a grade of B for kick. It provided me with a smooth boost and at the end I was not left tired at all.
Web presence: Visiting the website for the third time at ocenergydrink.com. It has good flow and good information. You have your store, your story section, event, product information, new section, and the OC girls section. It is ok but I would like to see it updated a bit since the even section only goes up to Dec 2007. They do have a Myspace page . I will give them a B- for web presence

If you’re looking for a diet energy drink I highly suggest you try this one. It does not taste diet to me at all. I really enjoyed it alone as well as mixed. Mixing is one are where OC drinks excel since they are not carbonated it gives you a lot of mixing options. Check it out and let me know what you think
