Mini Thin RUSH A.M. Mocha energy shot

Ok so tried the original Mini Thin Rush Berry flavor a while back. At that time that was the only flavor they offered so if you did not like Berry flavor you were pretty much out of luck. Well now maybe you’re in luck! Mini Thin Rush is out with A.M Mocha flavor. Let’s see how it compares
Packaging: Mini Thin Rush A.M comes in the same 2oz plastic screw top bottle. The bottle has a blue and tan shrink wrap label on it. The shrink wrap on the cap has a cup of coffee on the front with “Mocha” printed on it and reads RUSH several times as well all around the rest of it. In the middle of the bottle you get the name in alternating yellow and white fonts. The main difference is the A.M. part in the name designating this as a morning shot. You also have images of people participating in sports. These images are better than on the original I think with people playing golf, rollerblading, playing tennis, and jogging. You then have the highlights of the shot bullet listed “instant Energy, No crash, Sugar Free, Less than 1 carb. Finally you get the slogan and on the back the supplement facts. I give this one a grade of B for packaging. Better than the original.
Slogans: Same slogan right on the front “Feel the Rush” it is a great slogan really and captures what you want in an energy shot. I give them a grade of B for slogan.
Taste ect: Ok so I have not had a Mocha shot before so I was not sure what to expect. I open the cap and I get a scent of coffee. Not like a fresh cup of coffee but more like a coffee candy scent. I pour some out and it comes out a brown color like a weak cup of coffee. I take a sip and I get the taste of coffee followed by a small bit of bitterness and finishing off with a hint of chocolate. It’s not creamy or very sweet but it one of the more unique flavors I have had in a shot. I give it a grade of C for taste. Not the best but far from the worst shot I have tasted.
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so from what I can tell this is exactly the same ingredient profile as the original Mini Thin Rush. I was tired and had some work I needed to get done quickly. I slammed down the shot and within 10 minutes I was alert. I was not jittery but my tiredness was given the bums rush. It’s like a big bouncer grabbed my tiredness by the pants and collar and threw it out into the street unceremoniously! I was able to get my work done quickly and my energy remained high for a good 5 to 6 hours. I was never jittery just alert and awake. Very smooth and I never had even the slightest bit of crash. It just kind of tapered off. Main ingredients are 200mg of caffeine!, 200mg of Taurine, 50 mg of Eleuthero, 8333% DV of B12, and 2500% DV of B6. With that you get no sugar, and less than 1 gram of carbs. I give them a grade of B+ for kick/ingredients. With 200 mg of caffeine, a good dose of B vitamins, and the Eleuthero. You get a pretty potent shot. Eleuthero was known as Siberian Ginseng. And while Ginseng in a lot of energy drinks but it is usually Panax Ginseng and is a different plant.
Web presence: I’m going to cut them some slack since this is just released this week. They do have a website at minithinrush.com. It is basically a web store where you can purchase Mini Thin Rush and other products. No Mini Thin Rush A.M. there yet but I Imagine it will be there soon to purchase. I will give them a C- for web presence since there is not a whole lot of information. Still it is a decent web store.
Recap:
I have to say that this shot was better than I remembered the original flavor being. This is a quality potent shot that should get you going good in the morning or any other time you need a lift. This is good news also for those of you who do not like the original berry flavor. Now you can enjoy this shot as well! Pick one up when you see it. You won't be disappointed as this is one of the more potent shots around.
