Mini Thin RUSH energy shot

It’s been a few weeks since I reviewed an energy shot so I thought I’d give one a go. Sometimes you just want the energy with out all the drinking involved. I thought I would go with the Mini Thin Rush since Mini Thin is a long standing name at the convience store counters. I remember when ephedrine was legal over the counter. It Mini Thin Ephedrine tabs that kept me going on many long nights. Now that ephedrine is banned in the USA we have to count on other things like energy shots for our quick energy fix.

Packaging: Mini Thin Rush comes in a 2oz plastic screw top bottle. The bottle has a   blue and purple shrink wrap label on it. On the label are images of many sports like bike riding, swimming, Tennis, and basketball. “6 Hour Energy!” is written close to the top and “Mini Thin” is in a yellow font followed by “RUSH” in a bolder white font. There are bullets that list Instant energy, no crash, Sugar free, less than 1 carb. There is a yellow splash graphic with “Feel the Rush” written in it. Nothing really new but I like their sports theme and all the pictures. You know your going to get some energy from this shot. I give them a C for packaging.

Slogans:  On the bottle as I mentioned is the slogan “Feel The Rush”. That is super catchy. It’s short but get the message out that you will get a rush from this shot. I give them a Solid B for slogan. Gets the message out in a short catchy fashion.

Taste ect:  Well I don’t drink shots for flavor and I don’t drink them for thirst quenching. I drink them to get the boost I need quick and with little effort. Well this is supposed to be a berry flavored drink. It’s a dark pink color so it looks right and it is uncarbonated as it should be. It has a mild berry taste with very little sweetness. It is a little bitter but hell that is what I expected and it is what I got. I will give it a grade of C- for flavor. I have had better tasting shots but then again who gives a rats butt it’s a shot!

Kick/Ingredients: Here is where a shot makes the grade. Will it live up to the 6 hour promise? Will it jack me up and power me through a mundane day at work? I say hell yes! I was expecting a sudden intense rush and some jitters. I got neither. What I did get was a blast of energy that lived up to the 6 hour claim. I made it pretty much 6 hours with a smooth steady buzz. I tried it several times and each one produced the same results. Smooth steady long lasting buzz. I give them a B for Kick

Web presence:  They don’t really have a website just for Mini Thin Rush. BDI-Marketing has a site where they sell this and other energy products (quite a large line). Not a lot to look at but easy to order your fix. I’ll give them a C- since they could add a little more information.

Recap:

This is a good energy shot. It is one you should grab at your local store or order some from their site. This is what a shot is all about. Getting the job done and keeping you focused and energized.  Mini Thin Rush accomplishes all you need it to. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
