Monster Hitman Sniper
Finally got my hands on the other 2 Hitman shots from Monster. The original was strong but taste wise I was not thrilled with. I am hoping with these other flavors that Monster has fixed that. I’ll try the red Hitman Sniper first.
Packaging: The bottle is the same 3 oz black plastic with a screw off lid. It’s a nice shiny black plastic. The label itself is black with a silver outline. In the middle is the scope crosshairs in red with a big silver Monster M in the middle. At the top it reads “Sniper” in a red font and at the bottom is the Hitman logo in red with a bullet hole dotting the letter i. Back has supplement facts. I really like these shot bottles and the labels on them. I think they put some effort into the design and paid attention to the details. Grade B+ for packaging.
Slogan: Energy Shot from the Big gun” is on the website and it’s a pretty good one that works well with the Hitman theme of this shot. Grade B
Taste: Well the label is red but that could be several things flavor wise so I did not know exactly what to expect. I twist of the lid and the scent is classic energy drink. Pouring some in a cup it comes out a weird yellow red color. People who saw it were like that looks like what comes out when you have a kidney stone! Ok so the color is that of urine with blood in it. Really several people said this. Not the most appealing color. I take a sip and it is really sweet and is a cherry berry flavor. It is not as viscous as the original which is a big improvement as I don’t like drinking syrup. There is quite a bit of bitterness and aftertaste though leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I will give it a grade of C+ for taste. It does not taste like blood filled urine(not that I have tried any) but it is too sweet and has a bad after taste.
Kick/Ingredients: Well I slammed this down at work and that was maybe a bad idea. I was seriously jacked up in a mater of 15 minutes and full blown wiggin out in 30. I had a hard time focusing on my job and found myself bouncing from person to person and talking 90 miles an hour about all kinds of non work related stuff. Once I got a grip though I tore through my work like I actually enjoyed it! Now when I think of a Sniper I think calm and methodical. A sniper would never snipe anyone on this shot. If a hitman drank this shot he would be more likely to spray a crowded room with an Uzi then reload it and kill anyone still moving. Sure he would get his target but he would also take out many bystanders in doing so. The he would hop on a motorcycle and haul ass away doing one of those 70mph wheelies. So I guess you get the point. This is a potent shot. So whats in this shot? 2000 mg of Taurine, 400 mg Ginseng, and 200% of your dv for B2, B3, B6, B12. The rest is hidden in an “energy blend” of Glucose, L-Carnitine, Caffeine, Inositol, Guarana, Glucuronolactone, and maltodextrin. The caffeine is supposed to be 240 mg but that is not official from Monster. You get all this with 25 calories, 6 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of sugars. Only sweeteners in it are sugar and glucose. The buzz last the usual 4 to 5 hours with a minor crash. Grade B+ for kick
Web Presence: monsterenergy.com is as you know a top notch site full of content. I don’t have to go into it very much except to say check it out and be entertained. They pull out all the stops with tons of extreme content and the only thing lacking is more ingredients info and maybe a better store. Grade A- for web presence

Ok so for a major player this is a really strong shot. It’s going to give you tons of intense energy. The taste itself is not as good as the original but the trade off is that it is not like drinking syrup. I suggest drinking it without looking at the color though as it is not very appealing. Overall I will say give it a try for the kick. There are other choices out there that are just as strong and taste better but this one will probably be easier to find and get the job done.
