Penthouse Clear Lemon Lime
Well here we have our second flavor of Penthouse Clear. I here there is a 3rd one coming out but for now this is it. Lemon Lime is a flavor that has been used and abused quite a bit. It can be great and it can be awful. How will Penthouse Clear come out in this flavor? Will it be a Milf or will it be a 2 bagger?
Packaging: Here we have a nice shiny silver 12 oz slim can. I like the red ring with the slogan in it around the top. The brand Penthouse is prominent on the front and the arrow and girl logo is unique (I like the green in it better than the purple of the other flavor). It’s a nice design that is well done but I think I would still prefer the simple Penthouse Key logo. Grade B-
Slogans: “Clearly Stimulating” is printed on the top of the can. I think it works well with the image of Penthouse as well as the fact it is an energy drink. You get the point that this drink has than just energy ingredients and purpose from this slogan. Grade B
Taste ect: Well popping the top I get a scent that reminds me of a sprite. The drink comes out clear with a medium carbonation level. I take a sip and it is a unique mellow lime flavor that reminds me a lot of a lime Popsicle. It has the creamy quality that the other flavor has as well. There is only a hint of lemon at the finish and no after taste or bitterness. I like the fact that it is not super sour or too tart. Very smooth drink. I had a second can that I mixed with some tequila (drink responsibly) and it made on heck of a nice margarita. It blended very well with the tequila. Grade B for taste
Kick/Ingredients: I had been to a Christmas party the night before and had a long drive home after. I was exhausted and really needed a boost or I was going to crash at like 6pm. I drank the Penthouse Clear and in about 10 minutes it was like a fog had lifted from my brain. In 30 minutse I was a tiny bit jittery and very energetic. I really got a big buzz out of this drink. It was better than I remembered and top notch for a 12 oz drink. I had a good buzz going for a solid 4 hours with no crash.Penthouse Clear contains Caffeine 150 mg, Taurine 1125 mg, Inositol, Glucuronolactone, B vitamins, and Xian Cao. Xian Cao is something I have only seen in Penthouse drinks and is supposed to be similar to Ginseng. You get 75 calories and 18 grams of carbs and sugars. It is sweetened with Crystaline Fructose and sucralose. With it’s unique ingredients and stronger than expected buzz I give this drink a grade of B+
Web presence: Sadly the website at penthouseclear.com has not changed or been updated much. It has a nice look and flow and provides drink and ingredients info. It even has a page about how the drink is manufactured with some videos which is very unique. There is a store and also an events page. There is a blog but it is way out of date. This could be a nice site but someone needs to keep it up (no pun intended but that is funny!)There are no naked chicks which my make you happy or sad. Check it out. Grade C- for web presence

This my friends is a well thought out and well developed drink. It’s like a top shelf porn star that has had a real professional plastic surgeon work her over. Everything is just right and works well so you hardly notice. Other companies in the same field just slap their brand name on a drink that has all the appeal of a 10 dollar back alley hooker. Penthouse on the other hand provides a top notch product that shows the quality they are known for. This is a good drink I recommend you try. Thanks to Penthouse for hooking me up.
