Performax Energize Orange
On to a new shot. Wow these shots just keep coming out at a rapid pace. Let’s check out this new one from Performax in an orange flavor.
Packaging: Energize starts out with your typical shot bottle. The bottle is shrinkwrapped in a multicolored label. The lid portion of the bottle is orange and has the flavor on it as well as the statement “Packed with B Vitamins and enzymes”. On down the bottle it reads “The Ultimate Energy boost in white font. Diagonal up the bottle is the name “Energize” in a really cool red to brown fade font that looks like it is speeding by. Further down it list some key benefits of the shot and on the back are supplement facts. I like this shot since it looks really aggressive. I give it a solid B-
Slogan: Well the best I could find is “The ultimate energy boost” which is ok but not a true slogan I think. I will give it a grade of C
Taste: I take the lid off and pour it in a shot glass(hey as the edjunkie I have to do these things). The shot is a pale pink color which surprises me. The scent is orange candy and reminds me a lot of those orange slice jelly candies. Drinking the shot down it has a nice mild orange candy taste with no bitterness or aftertaste. This orange flavor has a more natural taste to it than a lot of orange shots I have tried. Grade B for taste
Kick/Ingredients: I had a lot of things to get accomplished and after slamming down this shot I got a really nice level of energy. It was smooth with no jitters. I would say it was on par with most of the major mainstream energy shots.I easily sailed through my work and wound back down in about 4 hours with no crash. Each shot contains Caffeine(around 80 mg), Taurine, Guarana, Glucuronolactone, N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, , and a huge dose of B12 at 8500% of your DV along with some other B vitamins. To top of that there is the typical enzyme blend of Amylase, Protease, Lipase, Cellulase, and Lactase. It all comes with no calories, carbs, or sugars. Grade of B- for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: The website at energizeshots.com is an ok site. There is not a lot of content but there is product info, a Faq, and a store. It’s is a simple site but it gets the job done and it is easy to find what you are looking for. Grade C- for web presence

I think this Energize shot is a pretty good shot if you’re someone who like 5 Hour energy shots. This one probably taste better and the packaging really looks better I think especially if you are a guy. Really this compares well to the market leaders and if you get the chance I think you should give it a try. It is a smooth buzz that will get you through your busy day.
