Phix energy stix
So a few weeks ago I got some samples of Phix energy stix. I have since worked my way through a bunch of them. I had a chance to really give them a good try. I have tried many powdered mixes with mixed results. Lets check this one out.
Packaging: Ok so really there is more than one package to review. The pouch the drink mix comes in and also the box the pouches come in. The pouch is a white foil pouch that hold a little over 12 grams. It is a mature design that should appeal to a grown up crowd. It has the little Phix lightning bolt logo, the flavor, and reads energy on the front. Nice and uncluttered. The box looks even better while allowing for more info including caffeine content on the back. Over all very slick and mature. Grade B-
Slogan: “Drinking in Health” is on the box and it works with this drink. They are pushing a healthy energy option. Now it does not say energy to me but other wise it is good. Grade B
Taste:
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so I drank these in a lot of situations. This is the kind of drink you can have several of in a day. I got a mild energy boost with a lot of clarity and focus. While not a strong boost it was a good one. I was always much more alert after one of these and I was really able to focus and get stuff done. I was always in a good mood and the mild buzz lasted a good 3 hours with no crash. The good thing is you will feel fine having another one since these are pretty healthy and not too intense. This is the most shippable all day drink I have tried and I found myself making sure to pack 2 or 3 in my lunch box for the long day at work. They also work great at the gym since the energize and focus you without making you jittery. Each of these stix is powered by a host of ingredients including 80 mg of caffeine from Yerba Mate, Eleuthero(which is Siberian Ginseng and superior to panax ginseng in my opinion), Catechins from decaffeinated Green Tea Extract, Maltodextrin, and a host of vitamins like A,C, and B complex. Then there is some chromium, NADH, along with some sodium and potassium. You get this with 36 calories, 8.9 grams of carbs, and 8 grams of sugars. It is sweetened with organic cane juice and Stevia. Smooth light buzz with natural healthy ingredients. Grade B-
Web Presence: The site at phix.com is well done with a ton of info. The mature look and feel of it matches perfectly with the package and the product. There is a store, a blog, and a ton of ingredients info. Fun it is not. Informative yes. They also have a Facebook and a Twitter. Grade B

So I really enjoyed these Phix Stix. It is one of the few products I feel comfortable consuming several times a day. It really helped me along throughout the day without overamping me. I had smooth focused energy that helped me through work as well as a work out. I even used it while I was doing yard work and it was refreshing and helped me there as well. So if you a person looking for an all day drink that comes in a lot of good flavors then this is a great choice. It will give you energy and quality natural ingredients. Then to top it off it is portable. Heck you can even eat it right out of the pack if you don’t want to mix it. Try some and let me know what you think.
