PÚR ONE energy shot
There are tons of energy shots popping up all over the place. This one caught my eye one day while I was poking around on Ebay. The price was good and it seemed to be offering a lot of kick for the money so I ordered some up.
Packaging: PÚR ONE comes in your white 2 oz shot bottle. The bottle is shrink wrapped in a cool black label. The wrap on the cap has”$1.99” printed on it so you know the price. In the middle of the label is a cool tubular blue and white P logo. Below the P is the name PÚR ONE in blue and white with energy under that in blue. One the back you have the ingredients and the supplement facts. For a shot this one looks pretty nice. It has a high tech upscale look too it. I also like the fact that it list the caffeine amount on the back. Only thing I would change is the color of the word “Energy” on the front. The dark blue font is hard to see on the black label. Grade B for packaging
Slogan: None on the bottle and they don’t have a website yet. Closest thing I could find was in their ebay ad “PÚR ONE works” simple and to the point. I give them a C for slogan.
Taste: The flavor is not listed on the bottle so I did not know what to expect. I twist off the cap and it is a clear liquid with a fruity scent. I take a sip and it is a very sweet mixed berry flavor. There is no bitterness, vitamin smell, or aftertaste. It is just a nice sweet mixed berry. Really it is one of the best tasting shots I have had in a while. It is not overly sweet but has just the right amount to cover the energy ingredients. I will give them a grade of B+ for flavor
Kick/Ingredients: After that first sip I just slammed the rest on down. Within minutes I was becoming more alert. In 15 minutes I was really grooving along I had loads of energy but I was not jittery thanks to the mixture of ingredients. I had several of these shots while I was cleaning up in the days after Hurricane Ike. Each day they powered through for a good 4+ hours of hard work while my mood stayed positive. PÚR ONE’s key ingredients are 250 mg of natural caffeine!, Taurine, Glucurolactone, N-Acetyl LTyrosine, and Malic Acid. The thing that keeps the stress and the jitters down is that PÚR ONE contains L-Theanine. You get only 5 calories and no sugar or carbs as well. I will have to give this shot a grade of B+ for kick/ingredients. With its high dose of Caffeine and the smoothing L-Theanine this shot is good stuff.

For a relatively unheard of newcomer PÚR ONE has really put out a good product. It taste pretty good, has a potent kick and it’s at a fair price. If you’re someone who likes shots I would pick this one easily over many other shots out there. This might be a little stronger than some shots you’re used to but give it a try anyway. It is smoother than you might expect. Pick it up for a bargain on ebay which is the only place I have found it.
