But the storm's about to rage
Rage Asylum

So thirstmonger hooked me up with some Rage and I have been waiting to review this one. I have read that it was orange and I have read it was cherry flavor. So 2 different sites had this much difference? I had to find out for myself.
Packaging: I love this can! Really the cool aggressive fonts, graffiti, and an image of a fenced in insane asylum. This all ties in so well with the name. I hope the drink can live up to this can. Grade A-
Slogans: “Insane Energy” is on the can. How can you not like that when you combine it with the drinks name. Grade A
Taste ect: Ok so I pop the top and the scent I get is apricot! Pouring some in a glass it comes out a light orange with a medium carbonation. I take a sip and wow it is a nice juicy apricot blended with some peach. The apricot really shines at the finish. I think this is a first for me. I have yet to have an apricot energy drink. I love apricots and sometimes drink the cans of apricot nectar from Jumex. This was a great tasting drink and really bold with no bitterness or aftertaste. It is very sweet. It also makes an awesome mixer! You gotta try this stuff. Grade A
Kick/Ingredients: So I was having one of those days where I just could not get my ass in gear. I was really dragging. This can of Rage got me going pretty good in about 15 minutes. Suddenly I was full of somewhat jittery energy and had the urge to get up and out of the house. It was no crazy energy but it was a good strong buzz that lasted me a solid 4 hours with a minor crash at the end. Each full can is powered by 160 mg caffeine, 400 mg Guarana(providing 40 mg more of caffeine), Taurine, Ginseng, Glucuronolactone, A heavy dose of b vitamins, and 50 mg of Creatine. You get this with 240 calories, 60 grams of carbs, and 58 grams of sugars. It is sweetened with HFC and Sucralose. I give it a solid B for kick/ingredients.
Web Presence: The website at rageliquidenergy.com is a lot of fun to look at. It might not have a ton of product ingredient info but it has a store, a comparison, a locator, and some multimedia content. They also have a Facebook. Check it out. Grade C+
Recap:
Ok so it was neither orange nor cherry. I believe they might have changed flavors at some point. This was surly a peach apricot blend and a damn good one. You get a cool looking can, great and unique taste and a pretty good kick. Hard to beat that combo. I suggest you get a can of this and give it a try. I got mine from Thirstmonger.com. Get some and let me know what you think.
