RedFin Energy Wild Berry

Every once in a while I come upon a drink or shot I have just never heard of. I do a lot of research and usually I have heard of most products long before I see them. Not this time. RedFin energy shot caught my eye with its packaging and once I checked out the ingredients I knew I had to give it a try.
Packaging: So RedFin starts out with your typical 2 oz shot bottle. The bottle is wrapped in a blue label that has a pattern on it that at first I could not figure out. It finally came to me that it is like a snow covered mountain. Right in the middle of the label is the logo which is a big red shark fin. The fin is cutting through the snow of the mountain. The Name “RedFin” is in a nice red and black font. I have to say it is a real sharp looking design that just looks refreshing to me. I give it a grade of B for packaging. Not real new or unique but just a quality job that stands out.
Slogans: It is right there on the shot. “Attack Fatigue” is written right above the RedFin logo. It really works well where it is placed and just had a nice aggressiveness to me that went well with the product name. It really says energy to me and I give it a grade of A- for slogan
Taste ect: Wild Berry can be so many different flavors really. It leaves it open as to what mix of berries you will get and I have seen it done in so many ways. I twist off the lid and I get a nice strawberry scent. Pouring come in a shot glass it comes out a very bright dense red color. I drink it down and it is a really well done strawberry flavor followed by a hint of blueberry. It is fairly sweet and there is no bitterness or after taste. I actually found it to be good enough that I wished I had a full size energy drink that tasted like this. The level of sweetness just fit well with the combined berries to make for one of the better tasting shots I have tried lately. Grade A- for taste
Kick/Ingredients: So I had a lot to get done around my house. After some home improvements were completed I was stuck trying to get everything cleaned up and also get things put away. Not something I was looking forward to. Lucky for me I had a couple of RedFin shots in my fridge to help me out. I drank this shot down and in the typical 15 minutes I started to feel my level of energy increase. I rose to a pretty high level of energy but never got jittery. It was smooth and strong. That is a good combination. I had a ton of energy and tackled my entire task with massive speed and concentration. I was focused and got more done than I expected. Time flew by and I was surprised to see the clock had moved so fast without my energy leaving me. I easily got a solid 5+ hours of energy out of this shot with no crash. So Redfin brings it with 200mg of Caffeine, 200 mg Taurine, Siberian Ginseng, and loads of B vitamins. I always find that Siberian Ginseng(eleuthero) gives me more energy than your usual Panax type. You get this enrgy with only 4 calories and 1 grams of carbs. It is sweetened with sucralose. Grade B+ for kick/ingredients.
Web presence: RedFin has a website at redfinenergy.com that is ok. It has a nice look to it and has images of people skiing(I was right about the pattern on the bottle). You can find ingredients info, company info, and a store. That is pretty much it. It looks good but not a lot of content. That is ok though since it gets the job done while looking professional. You want be spending a lot of time poking around but you will find what you need easily. Grade C for web presence.
Recap:
Ok so this shot really delivers. I hope to be hearing more from this company in the future. They did a fantastic job with the taste producing one of the best tasting shots I have tried. Then to top it off they gave a great smooth and strong boost that really last. You owe it to yourself to try this shot. It is one of those undiscovered gems you need to track down. Now I just need to get my hands on some of the orange flavor they have.
