Redline Princess Grape
Well I have reviews a couple of Redline shots so I thought I would give a Redline drink a try. They make 3 different varieties of Redline, Original, Extreme, and Princess. I grabbed one with out looking and came up with Redline Princess grape. Redline Princess has some extra ingredients that benefit women but I’m sure will be fine for men as well.
Packaging: Redline Princess comes in an 8 oz white plastic bottle. The bottle has a resealable lid and on the top of the lid is a warning telling you to read the label before drinking and saying it contains 2 servings. The entire bottle is shrink wrapped in a pink label that has several different shades to it. At the top it has an image of some grapes and the flavor “Grape” printed in a white font. Vertical up the label is the Name “Redline” in a big white font with red outline and also the name “Princess” in a cursive type font. Below this it reads “Mood, Energy & Fat Loss Matrix” The rest of the bottle has supplement facts as well as several other warnings. This is a nice looking package. It has a color that will appeal to women. The fonts used work well and there in shortages of warnings. It also is resealable in case you chose to actually use it for 2 servings. Grade B for packaging.
Slogan: “Freeze and Burn” is the Redline slogan and it refers to the chilling effect you get as well as the fat burning effect. It’s unique and specific only to redline drinks so I give it a grade of B- for slogan.
Taste: Twisting off the lid I get the smell of a grape Kool-Aid. I pour some in a cup and it comes out a clear liquid with no carbonation. Taking a sip it is a really taste like grape candy or Kool-Aid. There is really no bitterness of supplement taste at all. This is impressive considering all the stuff in this drink. If you like grape you’re gonna love this. If it is nice and cold it is very tasty and refreshing. It’s on the sweet side for sure and one of the better tasting grape drinks I have had. I will give them a grade of B+ for taste. Redline know what they are doing when it comes to flavoring their potent drinks.
Kick/Ingredients: Well It may be aimed at women but I know it’s not weak. I went ahead and drank the whole bottle(2 suggested servings) before a long bike ride. I drank half 15 minutes before the ride and the rest right before I left. The first half of the bottle had me pumped up with energy with the first peddle and I took off at a rapid pace. Really I don’t think I could have slowed down. The intense energy had me really going. Even though I was jacked up I was also in a great mood and focused on my ride and my surroundings. It was a very windy day which made it like riding uphill the whole ride. On the way back I though I would bonk(aka hitting the wall). Amazingly that did not happen. It was several hours after I started and I powered through the ride back with determination and energy. When I finished I still had some energy left and I did some work around the house. This is one awesome drink. Redline Princess contains 250 mg caffeine, Beta-Alanine ,Vitamin C 400% dv, Beta-Phenylethylamine ,Hordenine ,Evoburn (Pure Evodiamine) ,N-methyl Tyramine ,5-Hydroxy-L-Tryptophan (5-HTP),Vinpocetine ,Yohimbine
St. Johns Wort . As you can see there are a lot of unique ingredients. A lot of these are for enhancing mood and burning fat. You get 0 calories, carbs, and sugar. There is some serious science in here. Grade A- for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: redlinerush.com is a pretty nice site. I found all of the information on products and ingredients, Testimonials, Videos, A FAQ, and a where to buy section. It’s a cool looking flash based site that will appeal to the consumer who would be buying Redline Rush. Grade B+ for web presence. They also have a Myspace.. Worth checking out and adding to your friends.
Recap:
For a drink made for women this is a serious drink. It’s not as strong as RedLine RTD or Redline Xtreme but it is stronger by far than your average energy drink. There is a ton of mood enhancing and fat burning ingredients in there though which will appeal to women as well as men I think. It tastes pretty good as well. I suggest you try drinking only half to start out (2 drinks for the price of one!). Try some if you see it. Guys don’t be scared either since it really don’t look too girly and I’d hate for you to miss out.
