Slap White tea energy Lemon Ice

I have really been enjoying these Slap drinks so far so I am happy to be trying another. For my third Slap review I chose Lemon Ice. I’m not a real big lemon fan but when it is mixed with white tea I’m thinking that might make a good drink.
Packaging: Lemon Ice comes in the usual 16 oz can. The can is a crackle yellow color at the top and bottom and in the middle is silver. In the top yellow portion you have the Slap “Energy 9.0” in a black and yellow font. It also reads “Multi-stage Energy supplement” in silver. Several more times around the top it reads “White Tea Energy” in a cool silver and black font and also has the flavor “Lemon Ice” in yellow and black. The middle has the cool Slap logo in the silver section and it has a yellow glow around it. The bottom portion has the cool “White tea energy” again as well as “lightly Carbonated” and the flavor. Back has supplement facts and a little paragraph about the drink. I give this package a grade of B
Slogan: Nothing new here. “Energy 9.0” is all you get. It is one of their main selling points though and sets them apart. I will give them a grade of C for slogan.
Taste: I pop the top and I get the scent that reminds me of Lemon drops candy with a bit of tea in the mix. I pour some in a glass and it comes out a champagne color with a medium carbonation. It is good and cold and it has a mild lemon taste over a white tea base. The Lemon is not supper lemony or tart but is smooth and the white tea is a light flavored tea. These combine with the carbonation to make an excellent lemon tea unlike any I have had. It is super refreshing and thirst quenching. On a hot day this stuff is the bomb. B+ for taste
Kick/Ingredients: Before I knew it this drink was gone. When I first drank it I was really low on energy after a fairly sleepless night. I had a lot of work to do. 15 minutes after drinking this I was feeling more energized and really humming along with a smooth buzz. My eyes were back to being fully open and I was in a pretty good mood. My energy lasted close to 6 hours and there was only a slight crash. Slap’s unique ingredients include Isomaltulose, Guarana, Taurine, Caffeine(I think about 200mg), Yerba mate, Maltodextrin, White Tea solids, and B vitamins. You get all this with 160 calories, 38 grams of carbs , and 36 grams of sugar. This unique set provides for a smooth long lasting energy. Grade B for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: The website at slapdrinks.com is still in fine form. The site is easy to navigate and has easy to find info like product info, energy 9.0 info, Team Slap, events, and locations where you can buy Slap drinks. Pretty good site but I’d like to see something in the mixology section which still says “coming soon”. They also have a Myspace that is up-to-date and good as well. B- for the web presence.
Recap:
Once again Slap has impressed me with its awesome tastes and it’s smooth long lasting kick. I really hope this drink gets a wide distribution and makes it to my area. I can see that it would be a drink I would like to have on a regular basis.
