Spot On energy patch
Ok I was skeptical when I first heard of this product. Then the good reviews started showing up. I started to doubt the credibility of some of the reviewers. Ok so I was VERY skeptical. Still I heard that these worked. Time try them out for myself so I contacted the company and they sent me a few samples. That is a good sign since if your product is crap you most likely are not going to be sending out samples for review.
Packaging: What can you really say. It’s a nice chrome foil packet. It’s got a nice look to it and plenty of info on the front with out being cheesy. It’s easy to open with the little notches on the side and each pack contains 4 patches which is equivalent to 2 servings. I’ll give it a grade of C+ for packaging
Slogan: “Do you have your Spot On” is on the back of the package and it is ok. It is product specific but it really does not make think of energy at all. I think they need something that tells you this is an energy product. Grade C- for slogan
Taste: Ok so I ate like 3 of these before I realized they were not candy. If you enjoy bitterness and latex in your food this is for you. Really though I am kidding these are latex patches you put on your skin and should not be ingested or even tucked between your cheek and gums like a dip of Skoal. I will say they don’t exactly smell good when opened. I looked around for a good hair free place to put these since it is important to have good skin contact. I’m not going to say I am a bear or anything but Tom Selleck has nothing on me when it comes to chest hair. I was tempted to try my nipples but that was just creepy. So short of my back or my balls I had somewhat of a conundrum in trying to find a smooth hairless spot. I eventually settled for my upper inner arm. Grade NA for taste
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so I stick 2 of these on. I never really got that tingling feeling like I read others had. I did however notice a nice rise in alertness in the next 20 minutes. It is a totally different kind of buzz. You are just suddenly awake and refreshed like you just had a good nights sleep. I had a nice level of focus and concentration and really any sleepiness I had was banished away for a good 4 to 5 hours. Really these things work and it’s unlike anything I have tried. It’s not going to jack you up but it also is not going to make you jittery or give you a crash. I think these are great for meetings, studying, and sitting through a chick flick with your lady(or man). Each Patch contain 20 mg Caffeine, Taurine, Glucuronolactone, and a good dose of B vitamins. Of course there are no calories. I know the caffeine is low but that’s all you need with this delivery system. I give them a grade of B. This is not a strong kick but it last and is a good alternative to energy drinks and shots.
Web Presence: The site at spotonenergy.com is a well done site. It has a whole lot of good info like a FAQ, how to use, comparison ect. It is well laid out and easy to navigate. There is a store and they also tell your where you can buy the patches in person. No there are no games, wallpapers and such but it is a straight forward product website that gets the job done. Grade B-

Well I have to say I am impressed with Spot On energy patches. They do work and provide a totally unique buzz and delivery system. They are a good value at 2.99 for 2 servings. Other positives include portability, stealth, no crash, and, possible use as caffeinated pasties. Cons would be not recommended for scrotal use, need to be hairless, can’t use if allergic to latex. Seriously though these are worth checking out if you get the chance and in all seriousness deserve to be checked out.
