What do you want from life

Über Cube  Chocolate Caffeine Chews

Once again I am off into uncharted territory here. Chocolate chews? Loaded with caffeine and more!  Sounds like a good idea to me.

Packaging: Über Cubes come in a 4.5 inch tall clear plastic tube. The tube has a plastic lid and it contains 6 foil wrapped squares that are about ¾” X ¾” and weigh 6 grams each.  The label is actually inside of the tube and is made of cardboard. The label is blue at the top and bottom and green in the middle. The top blue portion reads “Amplify Your Performance” in a white font. In the middle is the name “Über Cube” in a white font with a blue outline. Below the name is “Chocolate Caffeine Chews” in a little blue strip followed by “Instant Energy Boost” in a white font. Then you have Carb information and key ingredients to wrap up the middle portion. Ingredients and nutrition facts inside of the tube on the back of the label. Nice little unique package. The couloring scheme fits with the name well. I like the fonts used as well and the whole package has a futuriastic feel to it. Grade B for packaging

Slogans:  On the website I saw this one “Energy made Easy” I think that says it well as to what makes this product unique.  It might not be super catchy but it gets the job done. Grade B- for slogan

Taste ect: I open one of the foil wrapper to reveal a little dark brown square. It is has the look of a tootsie roll and the smell of fudge. I pop one in my mouth and it really has a nice chocolaty flavor that is a bit richer and more dark chocolate like than a tootsie roll. It is a bit softer than a tootsie roll. I really get no bitterness at all and I am surprised at this. Really it is quite enjoyable. Even if it did not have caffeine in it I think it would be a nice piece of candy. Grade B+ for taste. I love chocolate and this fits the bill pretty well.

Kick/Ingredients: So I ate one cube and it hit me hard and fast like B.J Penn in a UFC championship fight. Wow it works sublingually so it is almost instantly that you get your buzz on. After that the buzz continued for 3 or 4 hours and there was no crash. I never had any jitters but I was very energetic and talkative. Each of these cubes hit you with 100 mg of caffeine, Taurine, Ginseng, and some B vitamins. They come in at 20 calories and only 4 grams of carbs and 3 grams of sugar. They are sweetened with Sucralose and Ace K.  I have to say these are pretty impressive and I give them a solid B for kick/ingredients

Web presence:  The website at ubercube.com is pretty nice I think. I love Gren and blue layout as well as the cartoon type images of stick figure athletes. It is just a fun site to look at and very cheery in design. In content you have product info, a Faq, Testimonials, and a nice store. The prices are pretty reasonable at the store. There is even a chance to win a tube of cubes.  Not a bad site for a small company. Grade B for web presence

Recap:

These little cubes are a lot of fun and provide a unique way to get you caffeine and energy. They are very portable and low calorie so as not to slow you down or fill you up. 1 cube will get you going but 2(not recommended) will really jack you up. Depends on your tolerance for caffeine. I think these would come in handy on a long trip by car or plane and would be great for an instant hit of energy if you are an athlete. Did I mention they are like caffeinated tootsie rolls? Hard to beat that for sure.  I think the only problem with these might be that you are gonna want to eat too many lol.
