I feel a Rising Force
U Force Cherry Limeade

Ok so a lot of stores are trying to cash in with their own energy drinks. The thing is that most of the time they put no effort into it. Usually they just come out with a weak Red Bull or Monster knockoff. I was checking the cooler at my local Valero gas station and I spotted 4 new drinks. This is the first of the new U Force drinks which is the store brand. It has the Fresh Choices logo like all the Valero drinks.
Packaging: Ok so right off they have 4 different cool can designs. This one for the Cherry Limeade has the cool U shaped logo against an orange exploding background. Really This is a sharp looking can that catches your eye right. To top it of it is great quality. Grade A
Slogan: “U Have The Endurance” is there on the label along with a little logo thing. Cool but I don’t get the endurance part. It says energy drink not endurance drink. Still it is drink specific. Grade B
Taste: Popping the top I get a nice sweet scent of sherry soda. Pouring some I a glass it comes out a dark pink translucent color with a medium level of carbonation. I take a sip and wow. It is a delicious cherry flavor with just a hint of lime. It’s not gummy or overly sweet. It’s is pretty much like a cherry soda. No bitterness and no aftertaste at all. Man I don’t know who formulated this flavor but I’d like to thank them for doing a great job. Grade A
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so it was in the morning when I drank this and it hit me softly in about 15 to 20 minutes. I got a low midlevel boost with no jitters. I’d put this a well under than your typical 16 Monster and the like. I would say it kick more like your typical 8 oz energy drink. It was an ok buzz with no crash that lasted 3 or so hours. So the amounts are not listed but include Caffeine, Taurine, Inositol, Glucuronolactone, and some modest levels of B vitamins. You get 240 calories, 60 grams of sugars, and 31 grams of carbs. It is sweetened with HFC. Grade C- for kick/ingredents
Web Presence: Nothing anywhere about these drinks. The is the Valero store sight but nothing there about their products. Grade F for web presence
Recap:
Ok so I was impressed with the packaging and the taste. They put a bit more into it than most store brands do. The Kick was sub par but not awful. If you can find this I say check it out. Really if this drink had the kick to go with its awesome taste it could be a winner. I look forward to trying the other flavors just for the taste alone.
I bought this drink at Valero.
