I'm the Crawlin' King Snake
Venom Death Adder Fruit Punch

So I was not overly impressed when the Venom Black mamba came out. Sure it provided typical energy in an awesome package but the stuff inside the package was uninspired. It was just a RB clone in a nice package. I was thrilled to see they had 2 new flavors out and I have high hopes.
Packaging: You’ve seen it by now right? Venom Death Adder comes at you in a 16.9 oz resealable aluminum bottle. The bottle is a glossy orange around the top with most of the rest of the bottle being dominated by a scaly snake pattern including a huge orange snake eye. It is very sinister looking. At the top of the bottle is the name “Death Adder” in a silver font. Towards the bottom below the snake eye is the name “Venom” in an evil white and orange font with a bit of the orange dripping off of the bottom of the V. Below that it reads “Energy + Fruit Punch”. Back has supplement facts. This package is still at the very top with its design and fonts. Grade A++
Slogan: “Piercing Energy That Strikes Back” is no longer on the bottle but it is still on the website and is still a very nice drink specific slogan. I still wish they would drop the piercing part. “Energy that strikes back” would be better I think. Grade B+
Taste: Twisting of the resealable lid I am hit very nice fruit punch scent. I pour some in a glass and it is a nice translucent red liquid with heavy carbonation. Taking a sip I am taken back to being a kid at a party having punch and cake. The flavor is a sweet punch flavor like one you would make yourself with maraschino cherries, orange juice, and sprite. It is pretty sweet but the sweetness works very well and this is one of the best fruit punch energy drinks I have had. There is no bitterness or after taste and nothing flavor wise that reminds you it’s an energy drink. Great job on this flavor and I can see me drinking in often. Grade B+ for taste
Kick/Ingredients: Ok so I drank down pretty much all of the 16.9 ounces over about a 30 minute period. By the time I finished it I had a very nice if somewhat jittery level of energy. You don’t get a buzz like this without sugar for sure. I would not call it smooth but it is not over the top either. I was energized and excited and stayed that way a good 4 hourrs with mid level crash at the end. The energy ingredient are the same as all the other Venom drinks with 160 mg caffeine, Taurine, Guarana, Inositol, Glucuronolactone,L-Carnitine , maltodextrin, and 100% of most of your B vitamins. There are 240 calories, 58 grams of carbs, and 56 grams of sugars. It is sweetened with sugar and Glucose. Not a bad line up but nothing new and in the end it is just a tad above other 16 oz energy drinks. C+ for kick/ingredients
Web Presence: They finally have a website up for Venom but this new drink is not there yet. Still it is very cool looking with the same Venom snake theme and awesome looking glowing bottles. There is pretty much no content. Just the same supplement facts label as on the bottle. Grade C- for web presence
Recap:
Ok so this new Death Adder fruit punch is a big improvement over the original Venom drinks taste wise. The packaging is one of the best in the business. Flavor wise it taste great if you like sugary sweet cherry fruit punch. The kick is on par for a 16 oz drink. I am glad they stepped it up and provided us with a more inspired flavor and look forward to trying the other new flavor soon.
