VIP Energy Mix

So this is one of those products I stumbled on by surprise. I’m glad I did. I like energy mixes to put in my water bottle for the gym. When I saw this mix I knew it was one that I really wanted to try. These guys have loaded this mix with everything you could want for a workout energy drink.

Packaging: A nice tear open pouch that is very portable and easy to open. The front is clean and nice looking with the back having clear instructions and ingredients listing. Nothing super fancy but what do you expect from a mix pack. Well done for what it is. Grade B-

Slogan:  Not really one to speak of. “Vitamin infused Powder” is as close as it gets. I’ll give them a grade of C+

Taste:  There are 3 flavors. Actually 2 flavors and one un flavor

Kick/ingredients.  Ok so every time I drink this VIP I was amazed at how great it worked especially in the gym.  I drank some before I headed to the gym and it had me motivated and full of energy. It was a low to mid level not at all jittery buzz. Then once I hit the gym this drink really delivered. My run on the tread mill was easy and I found myself running faster and finishing before I knew it. They I hit the weights as I was finishing the drink I found myself pushing for more weights and or reps with each exercise. I experienced this every time I tried VIP and it was the same each time. I got a good solid amount of energy for about 4 hours with no crash. I had plenty of energy left even after the treadmill and the weights. Ok so here is the long list of ingredients that deliver this unique energy. Ingredients a little bit in each flavor but include. 80 mg caffeine, Taurine,  Acai berry, Blueberry extract, green tea extract, Huperzine A, Ginseng, Pomegranate extract, , Rhodiola rosea, Yerba Mate extract, Choline,  WP Amino Fusion providing Arginine, Alanine, Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Lysine, Threonine, Metholine, Tyrosine, Glutamine, Glutamic Acid, Glycine, Cystine, Cysteine, Creatine, Omithine, Phenylalanine, Histidine, Serine, Tryptophan, and Proline. That all comes with 35 calories for the flavored ones and 26 for the Naked. They are sweetened with Stevia and Erythritol.  Grade B for kick/ingredients. Not the strongest kick but very unique and one of the best for the gym.

Web presence:  The site at vipenergymix.com is not bad. It is kind of grass roots and not a lot of content. They do provide ingredients info as well as a store though. I think if they fleshed it out with maybe some weight routines and other fitness stuff it would be great. They need to capitalize on their functionality.  They do have a Facebook and a Twitter though. Grade C+

Right now there is a code for 40% off making these an awesome bargain. The code is good until the end of November 2010 so stock up now The code is 4HJ21JR

Recap:

Ok so this at the moment is my go to drink for the gym. I love the plethora of ingredients which include BCAA’s, antioxidants, and energy ingredients. I like the easy open package and the taste is as strong or as weak as you care to mix it. I have high hopes for this company as I think they have developed a really unique and cool product. I hope you get a chance to try some. If you do let me know what you think.
