Zun Brain boosting energy
Here we have a one of the new brain enhancing energy drinks. There are a few of these and over all I think that it is a combo made in heaven or maybe made by elves or even Smurfs. Anyway to get back on track I really like the idea of good energy and good brain enhancement. It is a perfect for work or studying. Heck it is probably good for pretty much anything from driving to a night in the bedroom with that special someone. Pretty much if you need to be alert and focused on what you are doing this combo is a cool idea.
Packaging: Ok I’ll come out and say it right out. This is the most unique and awesomely designed bottle I have ever seen. I mean it is shaped like a rocket complete with fins. Then to top it off you have the cool little dude with a rocket sticking out of his head. If this bottle does not catch your eye then you are either a Zombie or dead(wait that is pretty much the same thing). Even a blind person would notice this bottle and say “Cool!”. Grade A+
Slogan: “Rid your brain of cloud” is right on the bottle and it is not really working for me. I get that it is referring to the brain boost theme. I prefer the one I saw on their website. “Drink. Think. Zun”. I like that one quite well. Grade B for slogan
Taste: Ok so I opened the black bottle and was surprised at the dense pinkish liquid that poured out into my cup. It had a very interesting scent that at first I could not pin down. Then it hit me. It reminded me a lot of ice cream? I took a sip and once again I was baffled or dare I say befuddled. It unlike any drink I have reviewed. I tasted some berries, pineapple, banana, cream. It was a jumble of complex and interesting flavors. I would say it most reminded me of some sort of mixed fruit ice cream smoothie. I have yet to find anyone who could really pin down the actual flavor. I will tell you it is very lightly carbonated. I thought it was noncarbonated till I read the label. There is zero bitterness or aftertaste. Grade A- for taste
Kick/Ingredients: So this drink went down quick with its awesome taste and low carbonation. It took maybe 15 minutes till it hit me. I actually got quite a good burst of energy. It was a lot higher than I expected and my clarity of mind was really improved. I felt invigorated, energetic, and my brain seemed to be firing on all cylinders. It’s like putting premium high octane in your car. It will go faster and respond quicker than normal. Think of Zun as high octane gas for your brain. Instead of my usual Mustang self I was more like a Ferrari. Totally unexpected and in the end it went on for a good four hours with no crash. So what is in a bottle Zun? 100 mg caffeine, Coenzyme Q10, Ginko Biloba, Choline, Taurine, a good dose of B vitamins, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E. You get all that with 160 calories, 41 grams of carbs, and 40 grams of sugar. It is sweetened with sugar. Grade B for kick/ingredients

Ok so this drink really blew me away. I was not expecting a lot more than a pretty package. Turns out Zun is pretty on the inside as well. This drink has an awesome unique taste, and provides a nice strong boost with a real boost in clarity. I was not kidding when I said my mind was running on all cylinders after drinking this. You know Zun could have just relied on the packaging. Instead that put just as much effort into the taste and kick. I really want to hear what you think after you try one.
